Yea yea, I'm asking for yet ANOTHER Midna's Lament Remix, and the other three are GREAT, but none of them give me the feeling of being alone... HOPELESSLY alone. We have one that's a waltz, where two people dance We have one that's background that'll take you away And we have one that's a bit more hip-hop. But none that convey this feeling of being truly alone, something that makes you feel like your lost in a forest, seeing flits of something humanoid running away in the foggy mists, something, or someone, that you feel you know, but just can't reach. Something sad, almost depressing really. I ask this because I feel this is probably how Midna MIGHT have felt, had she been real. An outsider with no-one else to look to for help. I FINALLY started playing Zelda:TP about two weeks ago (what... 3 years off?), and got to this point in the game just recently... And had the circumstances of the game been a bit better, I probably would have just sat there listening to it for hours, but as it were, I really did feel like I didn't have time in the game to just sit around and do nothing. Ummm... Other then that... I'd like to see if anyone can mix the tunes of when you howl with the White wolf, there are 7 of them right? Mix them together and do something with it could be interesting.

Hehe, VERY interesting, and entertaining... probably not something I'd listen to for hours on end, but something to put on the playlist so that when random hits it I got "What the fu- oh yea... hehe" I think *MIGHT* have been better if there were "party" sounds near the intro, around the middle, and near the end... As in, people talking and the like, so it would give a feel of "fake live music," where, really, the only thing fake about it is the people, but I understand how that coulda been hard to pull off Anyway, I'll definitely get this just to have as a "WTF" factor

I think I remember hearing this on the WiP forums... No no, I'm pretty sure I HAVE heard this on the WiP forums because I decided it was so good THEN that I needed to get it THEN, and now that it actually here, and COMPLETE, I think I may just get it again XD. Great work indeed, and I LOVE Tal tal heights... the first OCR song I got WAS a Tal tal heights mix, in fact (Disco Dan's I believe).

Hehehe... I just got done listening to it, VERY nice... love the original and this does it a fair amount of justice. But, near the end, I couldn't help but think... "Portals: the Musical." This almost makes a good opening theme for it (though, it's really the closing theme... but Things could be worked around and stuff.) Ehehehe... "Portals: the Musical"

Let me just say this... About DAMN time >.>, I LOVE this track from DQD and like to listen to it as I fall asleep (along with a lot of other music)... Now, my question is WHY 31 seconds? There's a lot of other things in the song that could make a little more sense then 31 seconds (I mean, it's not really 31 seconds =P) Either way, great song, I love it .

K, I know it would take a TON of time... but wouldn't it help some people who are trying to find remixes to add a Genre to OCR songs, and then allowing them to search by that? I know I've visited OCR numerous times looking for a specific song genre... whether it be Techno/Electronica/Dance, Rock, Classic-ish, Blues, etc. But I get here only to remember that I'm going to have to blow through hundreds of Remixes to MAYBE find one or two songs that I'm kinda looking for. It would even help further if they could also be seperated into subgroups (like Punk Rock under the "Rock" genre, and Death-Metal under the "Metal" genre. I just don't want to have to ask in the general forums "I'm looking for this kind of song," because I'd probably do it a LOT if I didn't stop myself every time Again, I KNOW it would take a great deal of time, and I don't expect it to happen yesterday, I'm just saying, it's a suggestion (That, admittedly enough, has probably already been suggested.)

funny thing is, I never really thought of it as a "western" so much as "gangster," though, that could have just been me. It seemed more dark, back ally, privet eye sort of deal... (And when I think western, I think towns in the middle of deserts with saloons and stuff... and cowboys, I guess)... Italy, though, makes sense for the title... ehn, whatever, still a cool song... and i'm liking what else they have too .

That is such a WEIRD name for the song... why would it be called THAT, of all things... Does that album have a story behind it or something? Well, anyway, thanks for the info, no it won't bug me, and I might just see what else he has!

This is seriously killing me, I stubled upon this song a while back (when I thought there was nothing to life other then that damned stumble button, I'm better now.) but I haven't ever found out the NAME of the song, or WHERE it came from. Anyone else heard this song? I love it all the same, but I'd like to at least leave kudos to the guy who made it.

Nah dude, it's cool man... I kinda like it short like this... and as the Pretzel man says, it's infinitely loopable... meaning it has the potential to have a run time of infinity... Ok, I swear... Dude... wait... what? God... when they say it makes you feel sleepy... they mean it... But it also makes me feel a bit mellow... The only thing that would get me to buy the PC version ( I have the 360 version right now) would be the Mods that people would come up with, like they did with Oblivion. I thought it was kinda funny that, with oblivion, I could say "That's annoying" and find a mod that fixes it 20 different ways...

It might have bugged... Unless he started attacking you, then you did some sort of damage to him first unintentionally. (probably a high explosive/or you shot him because you may have thought he was coming to attack you... very slowly >.>...) No problem, ALSO Dogmeat does NOT count as an ally... meaning you can hire someone else to come along with you and Dogmeat at the same time! It's really neat. Did I mention he's a great tank/distraction?

Lies lies and MORE lies... Dog meat is obtainable at any level, go south, maybe south southeast of minefield to scrapyard... you can see it from the edge of minefield. Head to scrapyard in that direction, there's a break in the chainlink fence, head left and watch dogmeat take out 4 raiders, then he initiates "dialog" with you. Then you get a pretty damn good tank. (I'll make better directions when I get on again some time.)

Ok ok ok... so "Three dog" isn't exactly a "track" so to speak, so much as talking, but I think it would be awesome/hilarious if someone were to incorporate his little speeches and talks into a mix... doesn't have to be from fallout 3 (though, that would probably be a good bet) I WAS thinking of asking for a mix of the songs that he plays, but I was actually informed that they are ACTUAL songs from the 30s.. which surprised the hell outta me for a couple seconds, but then it kinda made sense. Incredible game by the way

Probably already been asked, probably already been done, and I have this weird feeling that it doesn't exist, or if it did exist, it doesn't now... but yea... is there an OCR Radio station or something of the like so I can just turn it on and listen to OCR? Just askin'. Thanks in advanced.

I can see how you could get mixed up, but the rest were pretty much right... but I find a LOT of the music being listed, the part that's being described happens at/near the end of the song, which isn't bad, it's still the same effect, but I find it can be used to bring in the climax/main theme of the song too, if used right... but again, I'm no musician, so I could be completely wrong =p, it's just... calling it a "false ending" is misleading in that it almost has to come in right near the end... which isn't always the case...

Grr me and my not being a musician... I get lost in all this music talk... So I asked my dad the same question, being in the opera and teaching voice lessons, I figured he might know... He knew what I was talking about, but he didn't know if it was called anything special... so I'm lead to believe that the only real thing to call it is either a "false outro" or a "false ending." I might have to find out if any of any of my friends who are into this kinda stuff know... though I highly doubt it if the people here at OCR don't really know for sure ...

I was thinking something like "Faux (SP?) Ending" or "False Ending," but wanted to make sure it didn't have a better, cooler sounding name then that. Really too bad if it really is just that... And also, I listened to eastern Ice, and HAVE the Mario paint one... didn't actually notice the eastern ice one had it (probably because I didn't listen to it all the way through, wasn't really my thing)... but a re-listen has made me get it because of this effect (and because I didn't really listen to the entire thing, so I didn't hear some of the parts that I actually skipped over >.>... teaches me to do THAT again...) Anyway, I'm sure there are more mixes here other then those three that do this, I'll have to see what I have right now... but not RIGHT right now, it's too late for that kinda stuff...

Ok, so I don't know exactly what this is called, so I'm asking it here... because it's music related... in this is a music related site... and... it makes sense? ANYWAY, What's it called when, in a song, the music kinda almost finishes, and then it comes back in full force, leading you to believe it's either ending or going into a soft part and then it punches you in the face with everything it has... DistantJ achieved this, somewhat, in "Cryptic Marble." at about 1:40-1:46... It leads out, then hits you with something. I'm sure I have other songs with better examples but this is the one in my head right now that I'm listening to. Is this sort of thing called anything in particular? I just want to actually call it something other then "It gets all low and stuff, then PUNCHES you in the face with awesomeness!" And do you know of any other mixes here that have the same effect? I like those kinds of songs . Thanks in advance!

Well... I guess this is a "request" of sorts... it was either here, or the community forums... I just want to know what jazzy/bluesy remixes we have here on OCR... I don't care if you give me a list, or just your favorite, I'm just in the mood right now for something jazzy or bluesy (and this site lacks a search feature for certain genres, which would be REALLY nice)... I already have the "Darkworld Jazz" by Gux, and "Crystal Potion" by Po!, and maybe another couple or so. OH! and also Muzaky, like "Registration 4" (a megaman 3 remix) by Mike McGann... but I'm mainly looking for the Jazzy and Bluesy sort of stuff... Thanks in advance
