We'd need to be a louder voice than them, a more prominent side of the community. However, it's only the negatives that people remember things by. In the case of gamers, it's the stereotypes of the aggressive guy who yells all the time playing Call of Duty, the morbidly obese nerd with severe acne playing WoW in his mom's basement, the PC gamer who scoffs at any and all consoles because he is much better than everyone else because he is a PC gamer, and so on and so forth. With all those corrupting what could be a good image, it's a nearly insurmountable task to replace those as the image, as the representation of the culture.

Hey, I reviewed like MAD at the end there.

I, for one, have enjoyed nearly all the games I've played. There are a few that were just stinkers, but most were great. then again I also try to avoid the universally despised ones. I also don't subscribe to the console wars, PC elitism confounds me, Japan's cool, spamming doesn't bug me, and the casual/hardcore gamer debate is just inane.

Should I feel honored that this thread that I started is the source? Cuz I kinda do... my journalistic pride is shining right now. Also, nice work Destructoid!

Simple. They do it without telling OCR. They figure that what these artists don't know won't hurt them, so they go ahead and do it anyway. Then they plaster the WE NOTIFY THE ARTISTS thing in a feeble attempt to cover their asses that will crumble when the artists say WE WEREN'T NOTIFIED!!

NOTHING from this site can be sold, EVER.

So basically, they're selling a crapton of music that can easily be found for free. And legally free too, no piracy required. This is both bad business sense and stupid.
