That's going under the assumption that both BK albums and both FF6 albums will be released as official OCR albums. [EDIT: djp ninja'd me. D:] And it's not like releasing an album separate from OCR makes it any less special or awesome; yeah, I guess there may be some prestige with the OCRA-00XX tagline, but if you're directing an album with that as your only motivation, then maybe you need to reconsider a few things. djp said it best. It's simply about making a great album that honors the game and its music.

Personally, I don't see why everyone is getting so bent out of shape over this. It's not like this is the first time there's been multiple albums for the same soundtrack(s). Chrono Symphonic > Chronotorious Relics of the Chozo > Harmony of a Hunter > Metroid Arrange 25th Anniversary Album So what if they're running concurrently; this only shows that there's an immense amount of love and appreciation for the soundtracks in question. And hey, you can never have too many quality remixes, now can you? (and in regards to FF6 specifically, it has Terra's Theme. I guess the overmixage is now spreading to the rest of the soundtrack... )

This is why I'm glad that the Cid Project is an original idea. :3

It's officially out. And I have already beaten it. Highly HIGHLY recommended, especially for those of us with fond memories of the NES (which is what... all of us? )

Okay, now that I've finished setting them up... All project discussion is to be at the temporary project boards. I say temporary because I will be seeking KNGI boards for this once Kyle gets settled at home again. But in the meantime, we actually have somewhere to work on this.
