  1. I knew there wouldn't be an eleventh-hour flood of votes to dethrone Isaac from his place. I'll preemptively get to work on his bio as soon as I finish Apollo Justice.
  2. yay django gets another vote XD also, should I start working on Isaac's bio now? With only a few short hours left and him at 7th, I think it's a safe bet he'll make the cut.
  3. but the money microsoft is losing! surely they need to crush some market like that! surely they need the money from all the games and Xbox Ones that they'll sell! i mean, it's not like they're doing very well financially or anything!
  4. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jonaskaerlev/a-hat-in-time-3d-collect-a-thon-platformer a hearkening back to the days of collect-a-thons, taking influence from mario 64, banjo-kazooie, and zelda? sign me up!
  5. I like how you didn't list handheld sales, cause last I checked the DS was the best selling system of all time, be it console or handheld. Anyways, the Gamecube was a commercial failure for the most part; publishers were pulling support from it and stuff. Which is why Nintendo needed something big, something that would help them recover and then some. Hence the Wii.
  6. REVIEW TIEM Cosmic Sounds - Well it does have a very hopeful feel to it, but it also feels like a requiem a bit. Rather sudden ending as well. Still, nice, Tubbers Maggie - Starts out energetic, but a bit more low-key than last week's track. Really enjoyable, and very nicely done. Great finale! oh and lol yoloswag lol jnWake - Well right off the bat I'm far more interested than I was last week. You pretty much took the dormant energy from last week's track that went unused and applied it to this week's track, and then used the energy for this week's track and... also applied it to this week's track. Also ends exactly where it should, which is great as well. Mr. L - Ooh, pretty great intro. Very nicely done. Kinda got lost in it, to be honest... But yeah, great listen. Kinda repetitive a bit, but aside from that very well done. Zerothe - Sounds are a bit flat to me... Great arrangement, just the sounds could use some work. The soundscape could be much much richer. ethan - In terms of this match up, I see you hoped to TRUMP IT! DOHOHOHOHO Seriously though, nice trumpet. Diggin' that arrangement, but like Zerothe's, the soundscape could be fuller. though you told me it wasn't because you ran out of time, so there's that. Very fun to listen to though. MindWanderer - Very precise placement of everything in this track. This could easily work in a movie soundtrack or something. Cash and Change - Likin' that title. Pretty funky track here, I have to say. Really enjoyed this one, especially when that Marble Zone melody came in. great work from all involved this week. can't wait for next week.
  7. i read your laughter as tidus's laughter from ffx and somehow it still worked
  8. You can't say it's too late when it hasn't even been a year yet. Was it too late for the 3DS? No, it recovered. Phenomenally. As I've said elsewhere, people just like being eternal pessimists when it comes to anything Nintendo, acting like modern-day prophets and foretelling a complete doom for the company. Didn't you hear? It's the new cool hip thing to do! This video is just another in a long line of people just trying to fit in with this hateful trend.
  9. well if this project had a thread in the Projects forum like most other albums i'd be doin' this in there as i've done with many an album before but since it doesn't, i'm just demonstrating my excitement for this in here
  10. looked back through the DKC2 thread cause we were waiting on djp for that to finish as well brought these back (with new final line on that last one) btw the first is a parody of "The Distance" by Cake and the last is a parody of "Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi --- He's going to finish, He's DJP, He's all alone, (all alone) With his WIPs. --- DJP works hard On the tracks he has reserved He should finish soon --- Whooooa, he's almost done, Whooooa-oh, he still has to do one! Trust me now, it's been a long run, Whooooa-oh, one more and he's done. ONE MORE AND IT'S DOOONNNEE!!!
  11. Just PM'd you with the list.
  12. i saw the title screen in the video and the title theme instantly started playing in my head then i thought about seeing that and the title theme is currently playing in my head as i type this you should totally get the game, by the way. it's great. if you need reasons why and can spare 20 minutes, you should watch . if you haven't seen it already, that is.if you've never played MMX1 before, there are potential spoilers near the end, but aside from that you should be fine
  13. Nothing from what I can tell. I'm sure we'll find out more at one of the E3 Directs.
  14. $300, actually. That's why he had 300 cups. it was a dollar a cup. that's one of my favorite episodes, i pretty much have it memorized XD
  15. It just bugs me, that's all. Dragon works because come on, dragons. Fabled mythical creatures that appear in legends around the world. Yeah, I suppose this applies to fairies as well, but dragons are generally strong powerful creatures, a trait that applies to the type as well. Fairies would be, what? Fast, mobile, but generally weak because of their small size? Sounds like Bug-type to me. Speaking of which, Bug type is there because Satoshi Tajiri liked hunting bugs, if memory serves. And ghosts? Well, if a lot of RPGs have undead-type enemies, Ghost fills that role for Pokemon. I just don't see fairy working too well, that's all. and that's just my opinion.
  16. The problem is... I think Fairy type is stupid. I could handle Light type if that's what it was but... Fairy type? I just don't think it fits.
  17. 300. There's even a counter in the episode to demonstrate how many he has drank. Also Dream Land 3 needs more love as does Dream Course.
  18. Here, have some Kirby cake pops to share. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAYS TO BOTH OF YOU~
  19. NEW GAME ALERT! NEW GAME ALERT! From the team that brought us Mutant Mudds comes... TREASURENAUTS Source 1 Source 2 seems like it'll be a fun game to play at MAGFest
  20. Lessee... Kirby Super Star... fantastic game, in fact there's a great remix album with songs from this game that dropped not too long ago. Kirby's Dream Land 3... always liked the extra goals in each stage like not stepping on flowers in a certain part of a stage or having a certain power to help a character in another. also great art style. Kirby's Dream Course... Kirby + Golf = a surprisingly well-crafted game that can be fun to play but difficult to master. All highly recommended (though honestly I'd make Dream Course the freebie... not like it matters of course XD)
  21. I just sent him a message on Facebook reminding him of this. Plus, the Turbo Man in the Toxic Cave matchup is currently tied, so there's that too.
