actually PS3 launched on November 17th, not November 11th. that's irrelevant though and yeah, these generations are getting longer, likely because the fact that we can't really improve graphics that much more. as such, the hardware being created is more durable in terms of longevity because they're still valid compared to the other technology that's out. look at the PS2, that lasted OVER a decade. granted this is just all how I see it but still.

I mean, yeah, NOW they're saying they're making games for it but... likely it won't be anything made to truly take advantage of the system's capabilities. Also I rather like the eShop. Yeah, they need to tie purchases to accounts instead of systems but... aside from that I have no issues with it.

Can't argue with that. Both Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon are split into stages to take advantage of the fact that they're on handheld platforms. I only brought that up for accuracy's sake. Perhaps I can be too much of a stickler for details at times. *shrugs*

With the recent exclusivity deal Sega signed with Nintendo, it's definitely NOT coming to Xbox One. Or anything other than Wii U and/or 3DS, for that matter. I'm surprised Japan stuck by them after this confusing piece of advertising.

i grew up poor, so every generation was one with systems that i didn't get for some time. i try to get them eventually, but this is one system that i don't plan on getting. at all. even the ps4 has a few things that interest me, but this? nothing. we'll see what happens as more comes out, especially after E3, but... for now, not interested.

funny i wasn't insisting that at all if you like dubs, that's fine i just prefer subs, and that's why.

I honestly prefer subs because a lot of the anime that i watch is censored when localized or stupidly translated like Rockman EXE coming over here as Megaman NT Warrior and Fireman became Torchman someone tried explaining to me that it was because it fit the movement of the mouth better but... i've watched the original Japanese version (with fansubs) and even in that, he's called Fireman. so yeah, sometimes in the process of bringing it over here for a dub, stupid things happen. which is why i prefer subs; i can watch the anime in its original unaltered format (except for, you know, the fansubs added in)

we already know SE sets unfairly high sales goals and never meets them because they're so high which is part of the reason they're restructuring and stuff. but yeah, topic for another discussion. so... yeah.. Mutant Mudds Deluxe was resubbed to Nintendo after they sent it back requesting a few fixes; still looks good for a June release. So even Nintendo tells people NO (resub)
