  1. Sub something so your team gets a point, bro.
  2. Yes. asdasjfkljsd
  3. Kontakt has like 5 pianos, dude. Learn to use the good ones before you burn tons of cash on the perfect ones.
  4. Activate the track, dude.
  5. Nope. The Kontakt 5.dll matches how many outputs you make in the kontakt output mixer while 8out and 16out limit you to 8 and 16 respectively.
  6. Pitcher by Image-Line is exactly this.
  7. I got posted this year. That's the only thing worth remembering.
  8. Wrong. Control+click note. Edit velocity. Done.
  9. Oh gee there's only thousands of genres left to choose from this should be easy to guess
  10. Guys. He just said nine. It's going to be nine. What's the issue askjfldglka
  11. Just get used to using the piano roll. It's much more flexible than the step sequencer. I use step sequencer for one shots (single wav files like kicks and snares) and the piano roll for slicex'd loops and VST drumkits. If you really wanted the step sequencer control, you would simply just put multiple MIDI outs to the same MIDI channel (whatever the drum kit is on in Kontakt) and have their default notes set differently. For instance, I have drum kit on MIDI channel three in Kontakt, have four MIDI outs set to channel 3, then set each default note so that each one triggers a different note (trial and error to find the drum sound you have to match the note to). If you look in the channel settings window for each MIDI out you'll see an orange square above the piano. Step sequencers always play C5. If you move the default note to B4 (by RIGHT CLICKING NOT LEFT CLICKING), for example, the step sequencer will play C#5. The distance traveled left with the orange square will be the distance traveled right (pitchwise up) with the sound and the actual trigger. Another example, setting the orange square to A4 will move the triggered note 3 half steps up (because C5 is 3 to the right of the orange square) so it will actually be playing Eb.
  12. Nine.NEINNEIN I'll probably be mixing christmas week (because I don't celebrate it and it's really just a massive break to do whatever I want).
  13. Guitar Rig 5 Pro is better because it has control room pro which gives you just a ton more options for shaping tone. As for vs. Rammfire I think Rammfire sounds nice and bright for insanely high gain but utterly fails if you try and turn the bass up just a teeny bit to add substance. I've found that separate distortion units (sometimes both inside and outside of guitar rig) then going through van 51 (and then control room pro) with slight gain and double tracked gets me a nice beefy, chunky but slicy sound without all the extra "sakijfoehsjrfovisjeroivb" distortion on top of it.
  14. Rammfire sucks compared to Van 51 and Hot Solo in Guitar Rig 5.
  15. It's better. Somehow, it just is.
  16. BRING IT JEWWWWB aw yeah
  17. Yes, that's exactly what I mean. The volume knobs in Kontakt will automatically set themselves to the value of the MIDI out volume knobs.
  18. My pride almost forbids from sending this song in. It's so bad.
  19. I use Guitar Rig for guitars. It is more of an effects host though, now. That's what they're pushing for, I think. Which makes sense, to keep everything they release under one VST.
  20. Oh, well, I thought you were putting it on your master for some reason. Sorry.
  21. No prob, 'vier. Happy to aid. Cutting out a stereo half of your mix will indeed sound colored.
  22. I vote for the revised white one and the original black instruments one in the OP.
  23. At the top left corner of the rack view there's an "X" and a "-". Hit the "X". All effects gone. Also make sure both L and R are checked on the input meter on the top.
  24. Did you clear out all the effects? X_X More seriously, I've never noticed Guitar Rig coloring my stuff.
