  1. As of now, Capcom has formally announced they will continue to support Mega Man! Yep, I'm in a much better mood now. http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/11/14/capcom-promises-new-mega-man-on-consoles
  2. Over the past few days, I've been bummed overall with the lack of Mega Man games being released and the fact that the blue bomber was never put in UMVC3. So, I decided to do something about it. Recently, I finished remixing one of my favorite Mega Man X5 themes of all time. It's the X Vs. Zero track. I added additional content to the original to make it work as a full Mega Man stage instead of just a boss fight. The overall track has a different time signature, changes to the original arrangement, and about 40+ sec of new content. I was trying to balance this track between making it a little softer sounding than the original to use as stage music. At the same time, I tried to keep the energy up, so I could hold up as a Mega Man X theme for something like UMVC3. I hope you like it, and thanks for listening to my music!
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUQA07hJqHo&feature=plcp Still Green has always been one of my favorite KOF tracks, so I thought I'd put this cover together for fun. I hope you like it. Cheers!
  4. Here's a version I did of Rocket Knight Adventures Stage 1-1 a couple of years ago. I hope this is in line with what you're looking for. Cheers! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6xv-3s5fvw&feature=plcp
  5. Thanks for the feedback. In this particular track, I used a smooth compression and mastering algorithm in Sound Forge 10 to finalize the track and give it a bit more punch. If i only used the mastering setting, it would probably open up things a bit more, but it would come at the cost of making the track sound a little thinner I suppose.
  6. Here's a remix I just did of the "Thunder" theme from the SNES version of Ogre Battle. I hope you like it. Cheers!
  7. From 1:27 to 2:41 I have a remix of wicked child packed in with an odyssey mix of Castlevania 1 tunes. You can check it our here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1dltn-LaaA&feature=plcp
  8. Thanks for the feedback DjMystix. This track is meant as a "Just for fun" remix, and I have no intention of ever submitting / revising this piece to send to OCR at this time.
  9. While looking for other things Batman on Youtube, I came across the original NES track and just had to do my own version. I hope you enjoy it. Cheers!
  10. I appreciate the amount of hits received on this new album so far from the community. I want to hear more of your feedback, and I look forward to it. Thanks again!

  13. That particular piece of the track was done by taking 6 human voice phrase instruments and stringing them together to make it sound like verses.
  14. Thanks for the feedback Jean. I agree with just about everything you said about this mix. This was just a quick project I posted for a friend. It only took me about 1-2 hours to make it.
  15. Looking for more feedback from the community on this project. Please weigh in with your thoughts. Thank you!
  16. I recently reposted a Rocket Knight - Stage 1 remix. Check it out sometime. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6xv-3s5fvw&feature=watch_response
  17. This is a quick cover I put together for a friend per request, and I wanted to share it with the community. I hope you like it. Cheers!
  18. Here's a Final Fantasy 6 - Magic House remix I did last year if anyone's interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zd89RfHgBI
  19. In addition to this album, there are a handful of single song Castlevania remixes I put on my Youtube channel that were later used to do one of 2 of the Aura of Holy Might tracks. There's content for CV1 - Stalker, CV1 - Heart of Fire, and CV2 - Bloody Tears.
  20. Update: GameSalad has also agreed to publish these libraries on their online store. If anyone knows of other game dev / indie dev sites I could send this material to, I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks.
  21. Sorry, Jean. As of now I don't plan to release any of this content in any other format. I'm trying to keep this and my other remix / original material contained on one site for a sort of demo reel resource. I've had some luck as of later with getting a 2nd game music product published, and I have a few prospects for some other stuff. I just hope against hope I can land some time of long term game job eventually. Even if I can't, I'll still keep trying.
  22. Thanks, Korak! It's ironic to me that you say this because the one and only game company I've ever wanted to work for is Konami. I actually tried to submit this material to them for review, but their US branch wasn't very cooperative about remix submissions for use, resale as a music CD, or even as part of a resume submission. My guess is a legion of people had a similar idea last year to do a 25th anniversary album, and they were inundated with calls and proposals.
  23. I'm glad you enjoyed it Ondellonoya. To answer your questions, I don't have a soundcloud. I did use Acid Pro 7 to make all the tracks along with numerous synths, plugins, sound forge, etc.
