Hi! This is a rap remix of the FF prelude, with vocals that relate to VII. Its a small fun thing that has gotten a lot of positive reviews. I'm sorry that i have to give you the VG link. Right now, that is the most reliable way for me to host the song. Enjoy! Title: Pheonix Down? Party Up! Artist: Mythril Nazgul Gerne: Rap

It's about 5 megs, 4:17 seconds long, rendered at 160k. The ReMixer name is Submarine Sound, and this email (subliminal_friction@hotmail.com) is the one people should use to contact me. The game is, of course, Metroid, and the track's I've mixed are two that usually get next-to-no attention: the mother brain's theme, and the tourian theme. I think the only other remixer that's done it is AmIEvil... and it was a lot of fun, making all the synth lines and ambient sounds... (I used Fruity Loop's BeepMap generator a lot.) So there you have it... if you need any more information, don't hesitate to ask. Hope you like it~ - m a t t

Need to hear the originals to judge how much arrangement is going on, but seems quite good -djp I'm sorry if I'm being redundant, but I've had problems with my Outlook and my web space, ending up with a file that keeps disappearing and no way of knowing if I received a confirmation mail. Take two.... Sonic Adventure 2 - "Knuckles' Unknown from M.C." - by José the Bronx Rican (José E. Felix) - no email to list yet, at least until my webpage is set up... This is my first submission, after what seemed like forever to get this remix whipped up. It says SA2, but it's actually a combination of the Knuckles themes from both SA 1 and 2, with elements of other Knuckles tunes. I wanted a 100% pure hip-hop result. The lyrics from both themes were rewritten to make them sound a bit less "corny," with new, original lines for the last half of the third verse. In lieu of the help of someone with an actual flow, I recorded the lyrics myself. Comments about the quality of the mix is much appreciated. Thanks for listening. -- José -- -- the Bronx Rican --

Hi Pretzel I have made a techno’ish kind of a remix of the Stage1 theme from the NES classic Rush n’ Attack. The remix is kind of straight forward, I don’t know why I made it that way, but I think it makes the mix more true to the original song. I have tried to make a techno song, but with drums to give it a little more of a marching feel to it, all trough, I think the song have a marching beat to it from the original. This is how I also came up with the name for the song; The March. As well as the original melody is in there, I have also made some new stuff going on in the song. As a bonus I included the explosion and the alarm from the game. Cheers //Jonas Hellberg Remixer: xanax Email: xanax@home.se

Hey djpretzel, I'm a new remixer, and I think I have a great remix for you to add to ocremix.org. Its a remix of the end credits song to the origin Metroid game on NES. I did it using Reason 2.0 and it's totally original. The song is 2.8 megs and can be found at this link: All the ID3 tags are filled out and the mp3 is ready to go. This is my first submission, and I go by the ReMixer name "Israelian". You can post my email address (israelian5@hotmail.com) and my name, Ben Schneider, if indeed you do accept my remix. Thanks a lot for evaluating my mix. Keep up the great work with the site (obligatory ass-kissing). --Ben Schneider

Hello, djp. It's been a while since a submitted a remix. I thought I'd send this one in and give it a shot. It's a remix of the water music from Super Mario World. I have made some quite significant changes in places, both in terms of chords and melody. I don't think it's enough to make the tune sound in any way unfamiliar but that was the idea. This one is also considerably slower than the original. I have a piano with some echo, pads, bells violin and some other things. The bass in this is mixed pretty quietly, I wanted it to give the track a warmer feeling. Ok, the details: Artist: spacepony Real Name: Richard Gaynor Song Tittle: Super Mariocean (3.49, 160 Kbps) Game: Super Mario World Link: http://homepage.mac.com/spacepony_/ (It's in spacepony/Game Remix) Could I please ask you to rename the actual file name, if possible. My iDisk is a bit picky. Thank you for your time. Rich.

A nice remix that's not expected to make OCR (none of mine ever do!) but trying out the ride!

This is kind of neat electronica thing I did a while ago. It gets kind of cheesy towards the end, but meh. I hope you enjoy the buildup at 2:00 - I enjoyed working on that. Here is the link: Thanks again for considering my submission. Maybe we can have sex sometime. P.S. This isn't a remix of the Turks' theme from FF7, as the name implies, but of "Underneath the Rotting Pizza". There's also a little bit of the FF7 battle theme near the end.

Hello there. I have submitted this work previously, though (due to file delivery methods, I suspect) the mix was rejected before even hitting the judges panel. It is a thrash/black metal remix of the "Cat Kurobei" theme from Legend of the Mystical Ninja, on the Super Nintendo. I have titled it "From Ghosts Emerge Beasts." The thrash metal elements from the piece stem from how the guitar parts are executed, including the drumming. The soloing is also "thrashy," and the distortion used on the guitars (ran through a Laney amplifier) was created to mimic the sound of 80's metal thrash groups. The black metal parts of the piece come out in execution as well, with lots of tremelo picking, double-bass, keyboard parts, and also the way the melody is presented throughout the piece. The final, acoustic closing section is also based on black metal ideas (jazz guitar over acoustics, for example), though I took creative liberties in making it sound more Japanese-like at that part, for a little added texture. I hope that you find the mix enjoyable, and something different from what has been done on the site before. You can find the mix in either of these two places: Thank you for your time, and I can not wait to hear a response, Eradicate _________________________________________________________________ Shop online for kids’ toys by age group, price range, and toy category at MSN Shopping. Once upon a time, there was a boy. One fateful summer, he was spending a dreary day of his summer vacation in his beach house with NOTHING TO DO. Such horror! Fortunately, he brought along his extensive collection of FF CDs for such occasions. He chose to listen to an album he hadn't heard in a while: FFVII Reunion Tracks. As he listened to one of the...more ill-chosen *cough* of the tracks, he found himself thinking, to his surprise, "You know, there's a LOT of musical material in this track! I bet I could remix it!" The result is what you have here, this utterly perverse arrangement of "Honeybee Manor" from FFVII. Furthermore, this is my firstest ever submission to the site. Go me. w00t, and so forth. ReMixer name/"handle": Will Buck ReMixer e-mail: GoodGrief51@aol.com Title of ReMix: Sweeter Than Honey Game: Final Fantasy VII Original Track Name: Honeybee Manor That ought to do it for information, right?

Anyone know WHICH Donkey Kong this from? -djp Hello. I discovered your site a few days ago. This is just the sort of thing i was looking for. No longer will i have to do searches for videogame remixes and orchestrations! I have been an on an off hobbyist composer for a short whike, and have not much experience in the remixing area... but i have two pieces that you might put up if you like. The first was an arrangement of the Donkey Kong MineCart chase that I liked. if you graciously decide to put any of my stuff on your website, my dj name is spicyWalnut. I have been dabbling in classical composition for a while, but have recently been trying to make my style more ecclectic. Have a good evening -spicyWalnut
