  1. Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine "Jen-Ivo Gets His Fix" remix...download here: Hopefully this one will go through since I have it on my site instead of my friend's FTP. >_> Oh, and a little clarification on the name...Jen-Ivo is a character in the webcomic "Ruins of the Fourth Wall". He like Dr. Pepper, which was the original name. But my friend was all "NO NO NO! IT'S NOT AS GOOD AS JIVEMASTER'S MIX CALL IT SOMETHING ELSE!" so...well, here it is. Hope you like it. ^^;; Oh yes...credit to "DJ Squarewave", and website is: http://home.comcast.net/~jdr99 -DJ Squarewave
  2. Hi there, I sent an email last night, but 1) I believe the Email didn’t go through properly, and 2)even if it did, there was something screwed up with that particular uploaded version of the song. So, if this never showed up… I’m FlextoneJunkie, and here’s my take at the Metalman song from Megaman 2, in Metal style. There’s a link to it on that page. I call it: “Metalman Up Your Ass” If my last email DID go through, I know this is pretty shady, but could you use this version? There was a weird problem after conversion with some stereo panning/volume issues that didn’t come to my attention until I had somebody else listen to it through headphones (I don’t have any at the moment that work) Thanks much -FlextoneJunkie

  6. Hello! This is my latest submission, entitled "Metroid MODulus". It is a ReMix of the opening theme to the original Metroid for the Nintendo Entertainment System. My ReMixer handle is Rellik (as opposed to my e-mail, which is Rellyk@cox.net). Thank you for your time. -Rellik
  7. Hey, guys at OCR. This is a swing/jazz/ect. kind of arrangement of the Booster Theme from SMRPG. Thanks for your time (and wish me luck!) ~Unknown
  8. Hey djp! Just your friendly neighborhood Dhsu dropping by. This is my first OCR submission...EVAR. So go easy on me, k? Anyway, this is actually a submission for IMC 16, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to send it your way while I was at it. See who judges faster, eh? I dunno what's up with me and all this New Age stuff...I was kind of going for a Chrono Cross-ish feel (hence the title), but I'm not sure if it ended up coming out that way. Anyway, took me about four hours from concept to production (4:00 - 8:00 PM today)...not bad for a arrangement that's only 3 minutes long, huh? When you're judging my song, just remember that it's *supposed* to have an unsatisfying ending, so people will loop it again and again. That, and because it was meant to be background music for that Chrono fan remake. You should probably be able to see my e-mail address, but just in case, it's khabarakh1@juno.com. You can also visit my website at http://www.angelfire.com/ks2/dhsu/index2.htm, or alternately, my university mirror at http://personal.utulsa.edu/~david-hsu/index2.htm Hope you enjoy it! Have a nice day (or several). Dhsu

  10. Thought this was pretty dern good, personally... -djp Hey, a friend directed me to this website after listening to a remix I'm working on and said I should try and submit it. 11. Hi djp, This is the second time Freemind and I are collaborating. This time we blended romantic new age piano, with new age fare and orchestra. It's hard to detail exactly who deserves what credit as we literally shared the work on this project 50-50. Freemind initially did the piano with some of the orchestration. I then worked from the midi he had - editing the piano, then adding some new age trimmings and additional orchestration until completion. I also did the recording, mixing and mastering on this one. The result is a really romantic sounding piece, hence the title Eros, which means love in greek. Game: Battle of Olympus (NES) Title: Eros Composer: K. Sawa (I'm not 100% sure on the composer name as this is the only name I found.) Mixers: GrayLightning and Freemind Gray Edit: If you need a reference to the original, it's Peloponnesus - Track 4 of the nsf.

  13. What did you think? Post your opinion of this ReMix.
  14. For the record, I came VERY close to vetoing this. We've indicated before that whilst The Coop's arrangements are usually sound, audio quality/samples used are extremely borderline for OCR and that improvement is really needed. I am reticent to involve myself to the degree of overriding a panel decision and using the veto, but NEXT time if we have the same sorts of issues and the mix is passed regardless, that's what I'll do. Without going into further detail, there has to be a balance between arrangement quality and sound quality, and things have remained lopsided a little too long, while OCR standards have risen.

  16. Allo, this be Trenthian This is a submission. Submit to it!! GAR! Took a bit of doing but Im done with it. COTMM refered me to a guy (CompyFox) who helped me learn the basics of mastering a mix. I plan to employ some of the advice a bit more thoroughlyin my next mix (which will prolly be "Kid nikki, coconut assassin.") things I wanted to do with this one: -OWA- Everyone's favorite it seems, yet wholly underrepresented in the bajillion and one ff7 remixes on the site. I got bored with just OWA, the main theme needed love too! Like the monkeys! ... (actually maybe the monkey's needed a lot more than love.... like a hammer... and their heads...and bashing.) Playing around with some serious song crossing, I found inspiration to further mess around with other more musical parts of OWA. Having never done a peice with a heavy focus on the 70's Club sound, i thought I'd relive some of the good old days of the hand clap. I also wanted to mix electronica with my own brand of orchestral interpretation. (the oboe owns you.) I dont even want to think of how many OWA mixes you guys have had to listen to, and I dont really feel great about throwing another one at you, but I had fun with it. Hopefully you can enjoy it as well. here is the Gannon. (I love your forums.) Credit where it is due. (The fine people who put together the FF7 soundfont.) CompyFox for putting up with at least 80 seperate versions of this song before I felt I had it right. The OC forums for giving me something to do in between mixing sessions. and the DJP, for being a Bad Dude. Fear the Dragon. Dra- gon ----> -trenthian edit- in a more recent version, I would like to thank Compyfox for assisting me in the master of this track... he took a LOT of mud off of it... eq'd and completely owned the track on the remaster. While I was working on this I learned a LOT of mix fundementals when it comes to the production and engineering side thanks to him... Compy rocks the house he does.
  17. Hey djp. I hope you enjoy this one: Title: Gambler's Story Me: Pixelated (http://pixelated.myrmid.com) Game: Final Fantasy 6 Date (today (for my own reference)): Sep 13, 2003 -Pixelated When you have nothing better to do, visit http://www.bored.com
  18. Mix name: Indigo Rock Darkness Game: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis/MegaDrive) Mixer: seanstar (new mixer) Bass & pipe/flute Mystic Cave Zone mix utilizing some reverb and a couple moderately distributed extraneous samples. Builds up slowly, adding new elements as existing ones get too repetitive (and hopefully not after ). Looking forward to maybe getting a preliminary sample 'I helped DJP' out of this one... heh.

I'm sure you hear a lot of hi-NRG techno remixes, but here's my shot at it.
  20. Hey, Second remix submission here. Hopefully I've got the tags filled properly, but if not, here's the information. 21. email sub file Mega_Man_3_AampedUpSnakePit_OC_ReMix(1).mp3 - djp Hi, my name is Trevor Sparham aka Aamp. Music making has been a hobby of mine for around three years now and counting. I happened to stumble across your site while I was looking for places that take music submissions. I figured I would check it out. I was quite surprised to hear music of such quality and creativity. I have always favoured electronic music including some of which you would find in video games. Anyway, enough of my life story, my main purpose of sending this message is to see if you would accept a remix that I put together exclusive for your community. I don't have a website up at the moment so I would have to send it to you via email as an attachment. The mp3 file is a little on the plus side of 3.5 Meg. The song is from Megaman 3, I know you probably have enough of those already but I needed something simple that I am familiar with to begin with. It is a Snakeman remix that took an entire afternoon and evening to compose and remix (even the simple Nintendo songs are pretty darn complicated). I did it using what would be referred to as a tracker, I guess, since it is the only music tool that I currently have. A few notes sound a little out of place, but it's barely noticeable. Anyhow I am quite pleased with the overall result, although I would like to do better ones in the future. P.S. Your website is GREAT!!! I love the layout and the fact that I may have the chance to show off a few of my skills (finally) as well as enjoy what others have to offer. Just to clarify, my nickname that I want to be posted as is Aamp. I can be contacted at sparham4@shaw.ca. Let me know if you would be willing to accept my song through e-mail or if you have any other methods. Thank you very much. , Aamp
