Really could have sworn that I reviewed this already, but oh well. I really enjoyed the darker, spooky intro and Asian sounding outro. Those really caught my attention and the beat sounded great all the way through. It's a cool atmospheric ReMix that keeps things interesting. Love it.

One of the many reasons why I love Project Chaos. Pretty cool how it starts off with the game SFX before ripping right into the heavy-guitars and drums. The soloing and the fast paced shredding brings back memories of facing this guy at the end of S&K. The production and arrangement are top-notch and this ReMix has "epic" written all over it. Very tasty final boss ReMix.

Cool, groovy little ReMix here. The arrangement it cool and keeps the original feeling intact. Still, it's hard to hear this without the constant "Go!" sounds from the source. I just can't unhear it. But that's the best part of this ReMix, because nothing sounds too repetitive and it stays interesting until the end.

Nice solid build-up in the beginning. The bit between 1:14 and 1:40 was great for the anticipation and things got really good when it came back with the source being recognizable. Amazing job on this progressive track and the ReMix moved along really well. I do think the ending took a hair long to fade out, but that's just me nit-picking like crazy because there is really nothing wrong with this ReMix. Terrific work, Jewbei.

It amuses me that the source tunes get almost as much love as Ice Cap. Rightfully so, because both SS and Forest Interlude lends themselves well to so many different takes. This ReMix is a great example. Nice jazzy arrangement. The police sirens and such were a nice touch and oh, do I love that sax. Half laid-back, half funky, all good. Nice work!

Haha! Oh, man, that evil laugh at the beginning and end was perfect! Geez, I do love metal when it's used for hard-hitting boss ReMixes. Keeps the spirit of the battle alive. The rapid-drums, excellent guitar work and epic arrangement made this ReMix. This was always my favorite Eggman theme, so I'm glad to see it done justice. Fantastic work!

First episode has me so psyched for the new season! I love this show. Good thing for this thread, though, cause I didn't even know the new season started today.

Way to go, Larry! Congratulations!

This is a really fun ReMix that makes my ears happy. I can get the feeling of a parade with the grand sounds and upbeat marching of Cid's theme. I guess that would be my favorite part of the mix, it keeping up with the upbeatness of the original Cid's FFIV theme. It's pretty cool to hear it with the FFVI bits added in as well. Well done.

I think I'm in love...with this ReMix. Funky, 80's breakin' and good, I mean real good electronica that actually sounds downright robotic. Hell, you even nailed the robovoices. And the fadeout ending leads itself well for the 80's feel that you were going for. Damn, few ReMixes make me want to dance, but this is one of those ReMixes that is hard for me to still to while listening to it.

I remember this as a WIP that Briggs pointed out to me when I said I hated the Zelda low heart and Baby Mario's crying SFX. Anyway, glad to see it pass the judges and hit the front page. Now I have heard two horrible SFX's put in great ReMixes, which is astounding. The middle section with the boos and count down was impressive. I think the chip-tuneiness keeps the charm of the original while expanding and reorganizing the sound. And yes, the site could always use more SMW2 ReMixes.

Absolutely terrific ReMix. The upbeat sound, the energy, it was all cool with me. For some reason I got a weird MMX vibe from it in some parts. I can't really explain that one besides possibly the groove of the beat may have reminded me of it, but it's a good thing, trust me. I'm all for ReMixes that can blend in different genres to make something new and intriguing and this is one of them.

Love it. The reversed female vocals really caught my attention and being backed up by a smooth progressive theme isn't bad either. I really liked that it varies the sound throughout the track so that it doesn't become stale or anything like that. Great work.

Oh yeah! I love the island feeling of this ReMix right here. Nice and tropical, especially with the steel drums. Then it goes into a bit of a chameleon effect, changing slightly every few seconds while maintaining the feeling. Wasn't blown away by the ending, but I didn't hate it. Just didn't seem to fit with the rest of the mix to me. Still enjoyed it and it made for a successful collab.

Interesting. I quite liked the whole switch up between the piano and guitar sections. Fantastic energy and a good beat to it as well coming off the drums. I liked how you managed to mix in the main theme as well. A bit short, but it sounds like a winner to me. Nice to hear more good Pokemon ReMixes.

I always hated the original tune to Scrap Brain Zone. You know you have an awesome ReMix when something great can be made from a tune that....well, isn't that great. The SFX were a really good addition to the mix and the the melody fit right in with the original pieces. I'm really impressed and it has a nice groovy sound to it. Nice job!

This is badass. The lyrics are tight and flow smoothly with the music and hell, the chorus fits the level. Really, a rap-rock ReMix doesn't get better than this. But wait, there's more! Throw in a little bit of Egyptian sounding music behind the beats, and it's not only a great song, but a unique one as well. Awesome stuff. The only thing that gets me is every time I listen to this, I keep expecting two lines to come after the "Open the flood gates, get ready for the flow" bit considering the rest of the song had four lines of rhyme. Still, this is pretty interesting. Great stuff.

Oh wow! Now this is excellent work. I really felt it from 0:50 on. That electric guitar, those pianos, the organ, everything just seemed really put together amazingly. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. Kinda hard not to like this ReMix when it's so catchy. Definitely one of my favorite ReMixes from Hedgehog Heaven.

Soft, heavenly, serene.....yeah, this is such a good treat! I just love how it has the same peaceful style of the original and I could imagine nodding off to sleep with this playing in the background. Also, one of the few ReMixes where I think the shorter length is one of it's strengths. Cool.
-
Very clean, easy-going and.....eh, not cute, but close enough to be nice and peaceful. Extremely comfortable and relaxing. Very fitting for the Sky Chase Zone. Another Halc mix that doesn't disappoint. And the mash-up wasn't that bad either. I like the creativeness of these things.

R.I.P Macho Man. You will be missed, but never be forgotten. Oooooohhh Yeaaahhh!

Sounds like an awesome show! Good luck this Sunday!

Yes, yes, a million times fuck yeah! This is what I'm talking about genre-wise. Classic rock really does it for me, even more than hard rock and electronic. I really wasn't expecting to find a classic rock remix of Sonic while I'm on my Sonic kick, but not only do I find one, it's freaking awesome! The guitars were spot on and damn the drums were nice. I gotta say, that I actually liked the Mystic Cave Zone part slowed down a bit. It brings out that Led Zepplin soul and I really hope we see more of this at some point.

This really deserves its own post:
This mix was pretty much begging to be mashed up with Michael Jackson, and sure enough it happened So cool!
That's crazy! Very nice.
Anyway, this ReMix is so damn good! I can't keep myself from tapping my foot when I listen to this ReMix. Words can't really describe how much this song makes me want to just dance. Really upbeat and full of electrifying energy to keep it going! Woo!

Oh god, now every time I hear David go into a rage I'm going to be seeing that David Hoovard Rage Face in my mind! I would die laughing if someone managed to take an old episode or fanfic reading and animate part of it using the MLP OCAD pics idea.
