  1. One of the many reasons why I love Project Chaos. Pretty cool how it starts off with the game SFX before ripping right into the heavy-guitars and drums. The soloing and the fast paced shredding brings back memories of facing this guy at the end of S&K. The production and arrangement are top-notch and this ReMix has "epic" written all over it. Very tasty final boss ReMix.

  2. Nice solid build-up in the beginning. The bit between 1:14 and 1:40 was great for the anticipation and things got really good when it came back with the source being recognizable. Amazing job on this progressive track and the ReMix moved along really well. I do think the ending took a hair long to fade out, but that's just me nit-picking like crazy because there is really nothing wrong with this ReMix. Terrific work, Jewbei.

  3. I think I'm in love...with this ReMix. Funky, 80's breakin' and good, I mean real good electronica that actually sounds downright robotic. Hell, you even nailed the robovoices. And the fadeout ending leads itself well for the 80's feel that you were going for. Damn, few ReMixes make me want to dance, but this is one of those ReMixes that is hard for me to still to while listening to it.

  4. I remember this as a WIP that Briggs pointed out to me when I said I hated the Zelda low heart and Baby Mario's crying SFX. Anyway, glad to see it pass the judges and hit the front page. Now I have heard two horrible SFX's put in great ReMixes, which is astounding. The middle section with the boos and count down was impressive. I think the chip-tuneiness keeps the charm of the original while expanding and reorganizing the sound. And yes, the site could always use more SMW2 ReMixes.

  5. Absolutely terrific ReMix. The upbeat sound, the energy, it was all cool with me. For some reason I got a weird MMX vibe from it in some parts. I can't really explain that one besides possibly the groove of the beat may have reminded me of it, but it's a good thing, trust me. I'm all for ReMixes that can blend in different genres to make something new and intriguing and this is one of them.

  6. Oh yeah! I love the island feeling of this ReMix right here. Nice and tropical, especially with the steel drums. Then it goes into a bit of a chameleon effect, changing slightly every few seconds while maintaining the feeling. Wasn't blown away by the ending, but I didn't hate it. Just didn't seem to fit with the rest of the mix to me. Still enjoyed it and it made for a successful collab.

  7. This is badass. The lyrics are tight and flow smoothly with the music and hell, the chorus fits the level. Really, a rap-rock ReMix doesn't get better than this. But wait, there's more! Throw in a little bit of Egyptian sounding music behind the beats, and it's not only a great song, but a unique one as well. Awesome stuff. The only thing that gets me is every time I listen to this, I keep expecting two lines to come after the "Open the flood gates, get ready for the flow" bit considering the rest of the song had four lines of rhyme. Still, this is pretty interesting. Great stuff.

  8. Yes, yes, a million times fuck yeah! This is what I'm talking about genre-wise. Classic rock really does it for me, even more than hard rock and electronic. I really wasn't expecting to find a classic rock remix of Sonic while I'm on my Sonic kick, but not only do I find one, it's freaking awesome! The guitars were spot on and damn the drums were nice. I gotta say, that I actually liked the Mystic Cave Zone part slowed down a bit. It brings out that Led Zepplin soul and I really hope we see more of this at some point.

  9. This really deserves its own post:

This mix was pretty much begging to be mashed up with Michael Jackson, and sure enough it happened :-D So cool!

    That's crazy! Very nice.

Anyway, this ReMix is so damn good! I can't keep myself from tapping my foot when I listen to this ReMix. Words can't really describe how much this song makes me want to just dance. Really upbeat and full of electrifying energy to keep it going! Woo!
