Ethic disco? Okay, yeah, works for me. I'm always up for something different, and this is a masterfully different song. Killer percussion and the ethic instrument samples just sound so crisp and real, it's amazing. Terrific work on the strings and this ReMix has your style written all over it. A plus for a grade for giving it a good Egyptian feeling with a sweet beat.

I gotta say, when I saw Protricity, Level 99, and bustatunez on the list, I knew I was going to love this. And a nice debut for Jeff as well. You guys nailed this theme so hard. The Indian influence was very prevalent and I loved the addition of the violin. Big ups for getting a little rock in there as well, making it a harder hitting ethnic masterpiece. Nice change up around the 3:35 mark and the ending was pretty cool. Recommended for sure.

What a wonderful intro, with so much groovin' energy. Fantastic synth work with the modulation and the main melody. Totally digging the breakdown and the outro. It may seem straightforward in some parts, but there is a lot of little things in it that helps it get the job done in delivering an upbeat ReMix that gets some movement out of you. Nicely done.
-
The hip-hop low-fi scratching was catchy and I liked how it moved out of that and back into a more classy arrangement before building back into the more low-fi scratching. A very ear-catching ReMix, to say the least. I enjoyed it quite a bit and if low-fi was my thing, I'd absolutely love it. Very interesting.
-
Oooh, I like. Loving the main beat coming off the drums while the guitars makes a nice sweep with the entire melody. Source usage was fantastic and I feel totally at home with the late 80's sound of it, especially around the soloing. I could definitely see good vocals being added in it that was the intention when it was made, but even without them, it's pretty cool. Great Remix.
-
Oh, man, this is gorgeous! I think this is one of the best solo-piano pieces I've heard in the last few months. Hard to believe this was all on Finale. Loved how you managed to get Theme of Love in there as well. You can really feel the emotion in this ReMix and it just sounds so natural. Damn, dude, so good.
-
I'm a huge Daft Punk freak, and I enjoy some Freezepop too, so hearing a ReMix that was aiming to be a cross between them was exciting to me. And I do here some influences from both, so fantastic job on that. I do have to agree that the synths were a bit too harsh in the latter parts of the ReMix and some of the beats just didn't sound right in some places, but it didn't bother me all that much. The cyber-like vocals sold this mix with me. All in all, not bad at all, Anti-Syne, I really liked this one.
-
Dark and a bit spooky, but upbeat at the same time. Very nice. I've always liked electronica ReMixes like this, for the way they seem to go with the flow while having some personality. Some parts of it actually sound a little drum and bass, which is always good. For the first time, this was impressive.
-
This ReMix is weird as all hell....and I mean that in the best possible way. Funky, groovy, and has a nice little swag to it. A trippy beat with a great arrangement, and a cool intro to boot. Not the kind of thing I'd listen to over and over, but it's a great listening experience so say the least.
-
There is something about chippy ReMixes that just make me smile, and this is included. I like the way the arrangement changed over the course of the mix and the pokemon cries SFX were a nice touch.
-
Yeah! Bring on the electronic beats! This is an absolute head-nodder and the energy just makes you want to move! The vocals fit this ReMix perfectly and pulled the mecha-computer feeling off very well. Great job.
-
Pretty slick. The "Get Ready" clip starting off the upbeat portion was a great touch, and the fact that it was used again later was cool. Thankfully you didn't try to over do it on the voice clips. The blippy glitch part of the track was fantastic and fun to listen to. A pretty good break house ReMix that really makes electronica shine.
-
Terrific arrangement! The Sax/chiptune collab idea was interesting and the whole thing came together pretty smoothly. Very solid tune and a good ReMix from start to finish.
-
Bells with solid beat intro? Awesome. Someone else mentioned that it had a DKC2 sound in some places, and I wholeheartedly agree, which makes it cool. And then those guitars rip into the ReMix and I couldn't stop grinning. Then ending on a relatively peaceful fading note was wonderful. This ReMix is without a doubt a ten on the scale of how great it is. Zircon, C-GPO, nice collab.
-
So sexy and smooth....I was expecting a Barry White-like voice to come in at some point, which made the falsetto bit funny to me. The piano was pretty cool and I the rest of the mix was awesome. The falsetto singing threw me off a little and I didn't hate it, but I think the mix would have worked with or without it. Not saying it was bad, and I liked it myself, just that it was a bit neutral to me. Overall, great ReMix.
-
Sweet ReMix. The intro was golden and I loved how you threw in a little bit of dubstep, which was perfect and didn't overstay it's welcome. The entire ReMix had a great electronic beat that was driving, but not overly frantic. The whole mix was really interesting and I like it.
-
Dude, nice heavy rockin'! The synths join the ReMix pretty good and this really gets me pumped up! Lots of aggresive energy that makes this mix a damn good motivator. Perfect for a rousing game of super dodgeball. I love the arrangement that combines the synths and metal guitars together, and the soloing was amazing. Epic ReMix, Sixto.
-
Sounds like something out of the background to a kids show. Fun and happy and a little bouncy. It's not a mind-blowing ReMix at all, but it's fun to listen to and it's really hard to hate on. A little on the short side, but that fine with something like this, where all you need is to get the idea, which you get fairly quickly.

God, I love that piano, Emunator. Soooo good for a mood setter. The guitar and ambient sounds just pulled the whole thing together, and I kinda liked the vocals. The ending was pretty cool with the whole "radio/crackle/sample" fade-out bit. And the reason for this ReMix made me smile and got a mental "aww" out of me. Very cool idea, Stevo.
-
Whoa, nice! I really enjoy the upbeatness of this chippy ReMix right here. It's like an energy drink for the ears! The arrangement was solid and the transitions were great. Nicely done.
-
Ah, good ol'metal. Great way to start the day. Very intense and flows really well over the course of the ReMix. Sweet cameo by Starla, too. The only thing that gets me is that the second guitar in the intro seems slightly-off, but that's just a minor nit-pick, cause everything else sounded great. Amazing ReMix here.
-
Whoa. This is awesome and a little depressing at the same time. Weird. The vocals were heavy and worked really well on the theme of the song. Very somber and sad in the beginning, but then it kicks in a bit at the second verse and it finishes strong while still holding onto that mortality feeling. Love it.
-
Terrific! I love how it progresses from start to finish. Oddly, someone else asked me while I was playing this if it was from a sonic game, and I can hear the style a bit. Upbeat, lots of energy and very organized. Nicely done.
Congratulations, OCR, on a phenomenal 11th year
