Hahaha, I can't believe how many people on other sites still think this is by either SoaD or Weird Al. To be fair, in some places it kinda does sound like SoaD I suppose, but the Weird Al thing, I don't hear it myself. Either way, it's a nice little tune that probably benefitted from the false label anyway by being heard by non-OCR folks, so it's a bit of a win/loss and then win again. The song is great itself and even though it's a bit too short, it's a great little bite sized ReMix.

Very fitting ReMix of the the original, which I can hear. A little bit short, but it's calm and tropical, and overall has a nice sound to it. It doesn't scream "I'm gonna blow you away", but it's pleasent enough that it doesn't have to in order to sound great. Nicely done.

Thank you, Steve. May he rest in peace.

Happy Birthday all! That SNES cake looks amazing!

Kefka and Bowser....now that is a team. And that organ......so badass! The piano leading up to it was beautiful as well. I love organ and piano mixes, especially in darker atmospheres like this one, so needless to say this ReMix is down my alley. It's so amazing how the two songs just seem to be made for each other. Going straight into my Halloween playlist right now!

You know, I gotta agree, I'm getting a little bit of a Scooby feeling on this one. Spooky and phunky, great for getting into the spirit of the month. Somewhat bizarre, but pleasing all the same.

Too much energy for porn, but totally funky! The upbeat beats and those delicious wah-wahs make this ReMix from top to bottom. Loved the breakdown near the end and this made my the top ten of my Sonic ReMixes favorites.

Happy Birthday, dude! Pig out on some tasty cake!

Man, that intro was weird as hell, especially with headphones on, but I liked it. It's got a lot of whimsical feelings in it and it just really fits Kirby's world. Love how much variety you put into the ReMix to keep the attention going and still managing to make it come off as a natural sounding song, like it was just meant to be made this way. Brilliant ending as well. Amazing ReMix!

Synthy Organ Metal FTW! The source of Robotnik's theme was always a bit dynamic and such, but the guitars and drums really bring it out here and I love how well it was elaborated. Took me a second listen through to catch Scrap Brain, but once I did, I loved every bit of the ReMix. 3:23 and on up to the ending was my favorite part. Awesome works guys.

Happy...er....belated Birthday!

It really isn't that bad. At all. For a song that was done at request and live, it has that feel and it works here. Not the best take on the theme, but honestly, there are worse ReMixes of the same theme on the site and for what it is, it's fine. I like it myself.

Cool. I can actually almost imagine as backing music to the game if the game had something other than "wakawakawaka" going on over and over (the only annoying thing about Pac-man it you go at it for as long as I do). Very good expansion on a five second theme. Not a fan of the last ten seconds though. As great as this ReMix is, those last few seconds....essh, a bit harsh.

Very nice. Sounds catchy and has a good melody to it. Not mind blowing my any means, but it still sounds great and has enough quirk to get the feeling across. Few minor issues, but pretty nice all in all.

Haha, I love MST3K! Overdrawn at the Memory Bank, Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders, and Final Sacrifice where great. And Space Mutiny with all the David Ryder nicknames.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh my god! This is amazing! I...I can't stop laughing or listening to this! Oh.....oh, I can't breathe.....aha..ha.....Oh, man, DJP, this is quite possibly the funniest thing I've heard in the last month at least. I'm not joking when I say I'd love to hear more country/bluegrass/hillbilly tunes like this, even if it's not as insanely weird and good at the same time. The tag "goofy" is perfect for this. Ah, damn, that was great. Thank you for making this, really. Yeehaw!

Fantastic ReMix. This is hands down my favorite Phoenix Wright mix on the site and it is an amazing trance track. The way the theme blend together flawlessly is awesome and although the ending was like turning a 180 at the very end, it was abrupt and the soft piano was actually a great way to finish off such a energetic song. The Objection sound clip was a perfect way to enter the transition as well.

For being one of the mixes that started it all, I gotta say that it holds up better than some later mixes. It's catchy as hell and a damn good toe-tapper. Seriously, the beat and the flute worked well together, and although there are a few flaws, they're only minor. OCR has come a long way, but this was a great start for sure.

I was just waiting for the day a Mortal Kombat mix would be posted ever since I got here and it was well worth the wait. The Dual Dragons delivered hard! The gritty vocals fit the rocking energy the mix presented and I especially love what was done with The Subway. Those guitars and shaku parts didn't just fit the mix, it pretty much fit the series as a whole. Hopefully MK and some of the other fighting games that don't have much love will continue to shine through with this much skill from many more future ReMixes.

Nice feel-good ReMix right here. Ah, it just screams "happy and peaceful" and I appreciate sunny tunes like this. Amazing drums, sweet synths, nice backing piano and all around enjoyable mix that just has fun written all over it. I thought the ending was well defined and finished the song off nicely. OA really brings it with his mixes and I think this is one of my favorites by him.

I can totally hear the Massive Attack inspiration in this ReMix, which makes it even better, but the ReMix itself has a great arrangement to it and the beginning is a bit unsettling before building to something grander. I'm not of a fan of some of the scratchy sounds in parts of the mix, but it's not biting enough to turn me away. Not a knock on the entire mix, as I love the ReMix, just some parts of it aren't my cup of tea as it were. Still, pretty cool and nice work.

Oh, yeah! Now this is funky and amazing fitting for the "retro" part of the title. The very beginning intro is a bit...esh, but after that it becomes a groovy ride that you hate to see stop. The breakdown in the middle was just too sweet and this is probably the most different version of this theme that I've ever heard. Always a good thing when you can take an arguably over mixed tune and bring something new to the table.

Extremely odd hearing Ken's theme in this style and tempo since I'm used to harder stuff, but this works for me. I think taking the source in a completely different direction than expected worked wonders here. Can't say it's my favorite take on the theme, just that it still sounds pretty damn good to me. It's ReMixes like this that remind me of the wide-ranges that a song can be taken in and what they can be turned into when a ReMixer runs wild on it, so great job, fella.

The beginning makes me think more Medieval than Slavic, but then it picks up speed and I totally hear it. I like how it has a nice bit of upbeatness while trying to infuse a bit of that cultural flavor into it. Not fond of the very end, but that's probably cause I'm wearing headphones when I listen to this. It just sounds like it's too sharp with those buzzes, but I'm not all that bothered by that since it's not there for too long. Overall, fantastic work!
