  1. This is so full of win that I don't even know where to begin. Basically, I love all the source material (and boy was there a lot!) and I'm amazed at how well it was all organized and put together. With so much source material, it would have been easy for this mix to feel disjointed or bogged down. Instead, it's just a joy to listen to.
  2. Wow, I think this is my first time posting on a song here. I really love this mix. It captures the Bollywood style so well. I can see a huge dance number on a movie screen when I listen to this. Great job. Well, this one is more directly based on the Bollywood style and not just Indian music in general. Bollywood is a pretty specific genre in India.
  3. I have two ideas for Zelda mixes, both involving playing with time signatures. First is the intro music from LttP. http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/snes/Story.mid It switches between 4/4 and 34, but I think it would be great if someone did version where the whole thing was in 3/4. I think it could give a new feel to an already beautiful song. My other idea is two more popular songs - the windmill hut from OoT and the dark world from LttP. Somehow I noticed that the background part for the two songs is very similar except they're in different time signatures. I think it would be awesome if someone could put the dark world theme into 3/4 or 6/8 and combine the two sources into one piece.
  4. Wow, this is amazing. Unique, clever, cohesive, what else is there to say? I love this mix.
  5. This is a style I wouldn't have expected to like, but you pulled me right in. I love how you played with the various rhythms but kept it smooth the whole time. And I have to mention the key change at the end. So often key changes feel forced, but this fit perfectly into the piece as a whole. I could listen to this on repeat for a long time.
  6. Hello all! Newbie here. I've been listening to music on the site for a while, and I finally decided to check out the forums. Music isn't my main thing, but my dad was a music major in college and he's given me random little music theory lessons over the years. As far as video games go, I've been a Nintendo fanboy all my life and that will never change. I've dabbled a tiny bit in composing and arranging music, so I might try my hand at submitting a remix here at some point, but mainly I just want to hear other people's interpretations of video game music. So yeah, that's about it, I guess. I don't know what else to say...
