For me, I think generally in the past it was always the music that kept me involved in a game...if a game didn't have good music, it didn't seem to be worth playing...the first game that caught my eye soundtrack wise would be Super Mario Bros. 3, which was also the first game I ever played...later on, it would be the Megaman X series, and the Donkey Kong Country games that would keep me intrigued...followed by Crash Bandicoot for the playstation...to this day I still find my self wowed by how good music was even in the old days.

Gah, good luck on doing it...I can't stand that stage because the background is so hard to look at...it really fits the music though...

Finally, a pic surfaces where my face is in clearly...although it looks like the guy in front of me is bum-raping the guy in front of him...

Okay, so going back...my face is not featured in any of the conga pics, nor does it appear in the hottub pic...I'm the fat stomach in the far left on the 1st and 3rd conga pic, and they managed to catch me climbing into the hottub...how embarrassing

Super Mario Bros. 3, ironically enough...this was a discussion I had at SGC with a group of people from the site...

We are quite aware of this...after all, we did live thru the horrible animation where said character originated... Kinsy is sad that he didn't make any of the conga pics I agree with Chili Con Carnage about feeling sorry for the Denny's across the street, especially since they can't afford decent ventilation...it was a hassle to sit beneath the vents because they dripped condensation at a rapid rate...it was nasty...

Believe me, it really wasn't that great...the gimmick's charm really wore off after the first five minutes...although it did draw a somewhat larger audience into our panel, including a few girls that were attending...It was really quite funny though with the melodrama that went to a slightly obscene amount...we had this guy that kept screaming for the guys to return to their clothing, which actually caused Deven to leave the table and start providing damage control, which was really helpful when the guy started banging his head against the wall repeatedly...needless to say, the panel wasn't as fun after stuff like that started happening...although he calmed down considerably once they were back in normal clothing...needless to say it was a very fun convention, I really enjoyed meeting Deven, Stevo, and David, as well as Paranoid Drone and Chili Con Carnage, and a friend of OCAD named Brian whom they apparently know from MAG I believe...For being a small gaming convention, it was really quite good, although I was quite surely disappointed at the cancellation of the DDR tournament due to inferior arcade equipment. The hotel was really nice, and they really did a good job putting up with a bunch of video game nerds for 3 days...it was a great convention...a great way to experience my first convention without it being so large and overbearing that I couldn't stand it...I look forward to attending more stuff like that in the future...MAG is definitely back on the calendar now

I was along too. there are supposedly some videos from the Wet Conga line that are going to surface eventually, but I have yet to encounter them as of yet...as of yet, the people that attended SGC from OCR are as follows: Brushfire Epicenter Level 99(for a day) Cyril the Wolf Kinslayer (me, yay!) Chili Con Carnage and Paranoid Drone we did encounter several fans on the way, the panel in the speedos went decently, minus one slightly overmelodramatic video game nerd...Brushfire forgot to mention that the mantastic overflowing hot tub was actually funnier when it starting filling back up when we got out...it shot like high pressure projectile water at about the pressure of a fire hydrant...about the same distance too...lol.The vendors booth was actually not that bad...and Super Hot Cammi!!! It became my job during the con to become the unofficial OCR camera man, sadly, I didn't take very many photos at the con as I was participating in alot of events at the time or I was AWOL from the main stuff...or I was drunk...whatever...anyways, I'll post a few relevant pics here and I'll post the entirety up for all to view in a seperate thread in Offtop. You might also do what a lot of OCR peeps have done and release your music thru SGX's website in addition to whatever else you're doing...

My hiatus is extended beyond the Screw Attack Gaming Convention...after which I'll get my computer back in working order and I'll return to the server...it's just right now I'm having serious video card issues which are affecting the performance of this computer and a replacement is not in the cards as of yet...I'll monitor what I can...and if anyone can tell me how to make TF2 dying video card friendly, I might reappear from time to time between now and whenever I buy the replacement...but assuming the damn thing is crashing in the middle of Age of Empires II, I highly doubt it'll survive TF2 even on low quality.

I shall be there also for the live Podcast in July...Brushfire, we'll need to get together towards the end of the month to work out the rest of the details...who's picking me up...where the bus station is in regard to the airport we're using...the hotel...stuff like that...and us OCR peeps should all go out to dinner one of the nights of the con...I vote for sushi!
