  1. I never have any problems with either of my computers when it comes to recording audio, or talking over Skype for that matter, and one's a Gateway lappy, and the other's a Cyberpower custom I bought off a co-worker, and they're both about two years old.
  2. well, at least it's nice to see Brushfire's sig again...his posts have been so tiny lately
  3. Well thank god my computer isn't that bad...XD, I would hate to think of how bad it would be trying to play on lesser graphics...
  4. Yeah, I haven't played it, but I've seen videos and I like it...it's going to be one of my next Steam purchases...especially once I get this harddrive copied into my other computer...
  5. Heh, I didn't realize you were at work...I got off 1 1/2 hours ago...but geez I wish I had a job that paid better...I'm so sick of working in television and getting paid next to nothing to do it...
  6. Were you even on just now, I didn't hear you speak a word...
  7. Well, If things work out correctly, I should have about 500 bucks after the bus-ticket, and if I get enough saved before the end of May, hopefully I'll have enough to pay for my badge too, but I'll let you know before the end of this month if that'll be the case...otherwise, I'll have the hotel monies...and I've already said I'll need a ride from the bus-station...the quickest ride I'll get from Amarillo will be a bus leaving at 5 in the AM and arriving at Noonish...the earlier bus would get me there at like 7ish, and I'd rather not have to wait in the station for several hours...so this will be what I'm planning on unless the bus schedule changes before I buy the tickets in June
  8. At least you reserve the right to have a title, I guess mine would simply be, the n00b.
  9. I have good news Brushfire, I have successfully secured my days off for Screw Attack, now it's time to put Phase II: Ultimate Budget Action into play...Phase III will be the purchase of the bus ticket sometime in May or June, and Phase IV will be getting there...so I'm definitely going out of my way to attend this one...
  10. anime porn pics eh? Nice one Brushfire...nice one... EDIT: The anime babe closeups actually do look like a porno shoot...and I love the Nel figurine...what really made me jealous was the amount of games...I don't think I've ever had that many games in my entire life...
  11. We can't forget djpretzel either...he's got some decent dance style music...and some of his newer work is actually quite good...
  12. How are you posting, aren't you supposed to be working?
  13. Well, find me a way to get to Japan for three years and I'll jump on it... lord knows I hate living here enough as it is...without reminding myself that I'm quite firmly stuck here....
  14. Well that's like the fact that you never see Children of the Monkey Machine on the forums, or that he hasn't posted a mix in some time...but he's almost always logged into IRC, and he talks too, just not very often...alot of the old remixers still lurk around, but they've just moved on to bigger and better things...but I couldn't imagine not one remixer that wouldn't come back to the site where they had their beginnings...
  15. Happy Birthday Garian...I know you've been on the site or IRC a few times since I've joined...
  16. If you really want to get into the scope of remixing and the OCR whos-who...talk to JaDE ARaN HaRuNo, she knows more about the site than Larry Oji, and won't steer you wrong with a good recommendation...some of these have already been mentioned, but I'll give you a general list of things... Zircon, bLiNd and FFMusicdj have already been mentioned... wtf? Did nobody think of Beatdrop, he'll keep you moving(and be sure to nab his original work too) If SGX still has some mixes on the site, they'll be worth nabbing(also has good originals) Nicole Adams will be a sure bet for slower, methodical music, but she's a rising star... Mazedude has SOME electronic work that'll keep you moving... Halc, his chiptunish stuff has an awesome beat...Platonist is a good related remixer... Basically, I would recommend thinking of video games you really like and finding tracks for them, you'd be surprised, there are alot of remixers on the site who have only published one or two tracks, work on albums only, or don't remix music on the site but do their own original work and post it here...just look around and go crazy!
  17. That makes me feel like an R-tard...I'm kinda tempted to jump back on the server and play some more...but surely it's winding down for the night... I just realized I jumped another 100 upwards on my ranking...that's nice...I jumped up 3000 on my second night, and a hundred or so every night since...I'm probably getting close to my happy medium though...I still suck balls after all.
  18. I actually wish I was able to decorate my bedroom with more anime stuff...it'd be alot better than some of the fantasy caricatures that I have now...dragons do get old after a while...
  19. at least he makes decent money for only working 4 days a week, I get paid the bare minimum...and making less than $1000 a month sux...I'm actually thinking about stuffing myself back into a closet and joining the military myself, at least that would give me a viable option of going back to school...which is kaput at the moment due to lack of personal funding and ineligibility for financial aid... Not to mention it would be nice to get away from Amarillo. And I'd much rather work a schedule that doesn't have me flipping around sleep constantly...this graveyards to evenings thing I'm doing every week is really starting to get on my last nerve. And I have a question...why does this thing always change colors? :points to signature:
  20. Yeah David, is it too hard to use Photobucket? I use it for all my graphic work...
  21. Prophet, you may now remove the following from my list: WANT: Sonic Adventure DX [Kinslayer] it's in the gamecube section.
