  1. I really hope you could get a good agreement with squareenix for respect of all copyright owner. I'm eager to see the page of support available
  2. Ahrr!! It's powerfull! I love a lot a tracks on this album, real tribute to ff1 that have too few remix before. Great Job
  3. Great to see all melodies will be remixed actually
  4. Thanks for your encouraging comment Indeed, the melody is a little drowned at the 1'49 part. I'll fix that. But, the final part, slower, is IMO a good way to conclude (beginning and end similar). Thanks!
  5. Thanks for your link! It’s really kind of information that I needed I agree about the guitar: too loud, sound not enough realistic. I was looking for a guitarist, but I’m not sure it’s really necessary on this. My mix emphasizes the orchestral side before the metal side. Maybe with your advice I can rework guitar by software and get a good result. Sorry for my late response; I was on other project and I’ve just seen your response. Thanks for your feedback !
  6. Thanks! I've yet started, Treno with a brass band rythm... I think we'll get a funny result:)!!
  7. OK thanks, I try. I'll send you a first version this we...
  8. I can see, I've some ideas. But I think now it's too late to start a track . As I've understood, you are in hold of only some tracks nearly finished to post the project.
  9. I'm very eager to listen this album, really promising ff9 is for me the best work for master UEMATSU, with ff8 maybe. But I'm surprised that there is no one on Treno's Theme, one of the best track of the OST IMO.

  11. Hi! Some new upgrade: - the percussion was really too loud, I've deleted a lot of bass - idem for the group instrument at the ending. Hope you like this new version Tree of Life v3 : http://www.reverbnation.com/bluelighter
  12. Thanks for your comment! I've tried to correct points you noted to me. Tree of Life v2 : http://www.reverbnation.com/bluelighter Xylophone was the own instrument made with a synthe of FL. Maybe the problem is contrast with sounds made by Finale. So, I used marimba with GPO sound and reduced a little. I've also added more of flute and trumpet at the end to accentuate melody. Finally, I’ve a little reduced the loud part. So, I could increase a little volume of the whole piece without saturation. But I think it still too low. Does someone know how increase volume of on orchestra piece, yet normalized? Is there other point to review? It’s the first time I use Finale for percussion, like fanfare or tam-tam. Is this enough realist? Thanks for your help!
  13. Hi! I've brought some update on this mix, started a long time ago http://www.reverbnation.com/bluelighter So, I've added some orchestral percussions (made with Finale) and corrected the Xylophone. I think this mix seems more finished than the precedent version. Any points to review?
  14. Thanks’ for your critic! I know there is a little acceleration. It comes at the repeat of the melody. With some training, I hope I could play that cleaner About 2nd part (at 1’10), it was wanted to use a faster tempo. I think it was necessary for a contrast between the calm before, and the furious rhythm after. The series of harmonies at 1’10 make a transition between these two parts. Idem for 2’22; but maybe bass of E is too leaned, I agree. I’ll see to correct that.
  15. Thanks Ambinate, glad that you like it!! I hope I'll soon can correct the some mistakes I've mentionned to get a better version.
  16. Thanks everyone for your encouraging comments!! About transition at 1’30 and 2’22; I precisely think that it make an interesting effect by the contrast. But I agree that ending is a little unexpected. Maybe I have to rework on transition or on other end. I think problem of recording place more at the first part (before). At 1’00, I feel an imperceptible acceleration. Not a very important, but enough to need a new record. Any other ideas to improve this piece?
  17. One of the best track from ff7, IMO. There wasn’t arrangement of it in the Piano Collection; so I’ve tried to make mine . This piece group several influences: sometimes calm with crystalline sounds in high, other times with more accentuated rhythm. In the 2nd part, I’ve wanted to give some religious sonorities by adding a new harmony. The mix finish by a little part from the ff9’s “Ceremony for the Gods”, track wich good marry with the first theme, I think. The arrangement is ready, but I've still some problems of record. I’ll try to correct it later by recording in better condition. I hope you’ll enjoy this arrangement! 18. No it isn't epic, but also it is not the aim of the original piece. What about production? Are there some points I have to review? Any comment or advice are welcome !
  19. Hi ! This is the finished version of my mix from Asterix. http://www.reverbnation.com/bluelighter Upgrade: · A better sound for xylophone · Instrumentation of the end reworked: I’ve added timpani and bells and more accentuated strings · A drum reworked · An end more fluid (I've deleted irregularity of time signature, in fact not useful) I think this mix is ready, but I’d like some opinion before post this. So if you have some critics, bad or good, please don’t hesitate Thanks for feedbacks!
  20. Yeah, for me it was foremost a remake for the premonition theme. I’ve after developed by an orchestra version from the others themes. I’m aware there is a problem with the guitar. I’ve to work with an arrangement more natural at some part (jump in higher octave...). And I think it would some better with a real guitar . I didn’t saw the guitar sound so bad. I believed it was interesting to hear this instrument at some parts. Maybe I’ve to work to a globally better balance between instruments (notably for timbales). Thanks for your advice! I’ll work to correct that.
  21. Hi! This is a symphonic version from some major theme from ff8 with a little metal consonance: “premonition”, “rival”, “never look back”, and “game over”. I know it’s in halfway between a remake and a remix, but I think these music deserve an orchestral version. Globally, I’ve worked to get a rhythm more marked and some effect with brass and woodwinds. I hope you’ll enjoy!! **************************************** Mix: Originals: Premonition: Rival: Never Look Back: Game Over:
  22. Oh! Maybe this link work better : http://www.reverbnation.com/#!/bluelighter Enjoy!
  23. Hi Guys! Here is the new version of Movin’s Remix. When I’ve posted the first time, I had some critic on the quality of drum part. So, I’ve tried to correct this and other points. Old version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWKnag8sW0E And the last here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5Rwz7fdZyw I wonder if the production is now correct. Any feedback is welcome! Thanks!
  24. Thanks man! I'm glad that you like this arrangement!! The part at 2:54 has the quality sound as the whole piece. But, seeing that I play in high-piched, we well hear the light noises there are back. I don't have studio to record in. It's the reason why I can't post it on OCR. I'll think to a solution to record this. Thank for your comment
