Changing this to Mod Review as I'm not sure where the current OCR bar is, and here's the complete track. I've also put a few parts from this other source to the mix, and you can dance more now. o/
-
It's been a while from my last posted mix and I haven't been making new music ever since, so I thought I'd give you a glance of what I'm currently cooking here.
Tip: it's popcorn, inside a volcano, with some help from the muddrakes. :}
Here's the main source.
Here's the secondary source.Totally random timbale sounds <-> corns, the marimba attempts to play like corn, the glock is like the metal from the pan (or so), etc etc.
Might sound a bit conservative for now, but I plan to expand on it lots more as I plan to submit it. What do you think? -

Hellosis,
Quite recently I've been doing pencil art to increase my revenue alongside the Graphic Design, photo restoring jobs and music licensing. Here's a few examples:

I love every tiny fruity bit in this, from the concept to the music. Bought it! :3

Because of its emotions, colors, images, tastes and I like dancing too \@/

Not sure. I'm currently working as a book designer though, and I do like it. Music-wise, the idea of composing for fun sounds better for me than having an actual career, but I'm totally fine with the idea of doing one or another freelance job.

And now that you've just replied, I don't feel so lonely anymore! <3
[/end]
Well, I know there's some fellow countrymen names to consider, although they still live kinda far away from here IIRC.
-
I can assure you there's something to review about the concept of loneliness on that map.

I think I have a crush on the way those accompaniments whisper through the piece. Really enchanting one

Can't speak for the other artists, but I'd be cool with final mastering. If it's something you feel that needs to be done with a track of mine for the sake of any project as a whole, just no worries. Of course, I heard part of VV2 during the listening party and I think it still delivers a pretty solid package nevertheless... That said, I've just downloaded this so excuse me coz I'm listening to everything this time
Oh, but beforehand:
Music is already available through the link provided, but the website is currently updated, we had a very hard day! Thanks, Dave. For me there's still an announcement on top of the album cover. Perhaps you mean it's in the process of being updated?

Oohh, hello, Mr. Hedgog!! o/ \o
Heh, this sounds like the universe's collapsing in a toilet flush. Which is absolutely... fascinating, right? Well, means I like it! Now, I still remember when I said I'd throw a party for you once this mix got frontpage'd.
-
Oh... My... God... That legendary remix that kept silent, sitting right there on the "conditional" corner, never appearing on the frontpage since I first registered to OCR boards... I _had_ to listen to this and comment!
It's... a lot different from what I was expecting. Somehow I thought this would scream EDM, but when I hit play, I laughed hard at that sweet lovely marimba. That said, no matter what genre this should be called, it's still a very pleasant jazzy thing to listen to.
Seriously, this mix has piqued my curiosity for a long time. Glad to know it's finally published!

Happy Pretzels, Mickey!

Beethoven's "Für Elise" is the one that introduced me to classical music. I always thought it sounded like different songs glued together, and just now I learn that those "sections" could represent his emotions towards Therese (Elise) - there's sadness, happiness, uneasiness/anxiety and something else that he doesn't seem to want to express in the end.
So this is my remix, where I tried to just interpret that context with my own point of view. Hope you like it!

A great one to listen to when I'm lying in a hammock. ^^

I think Dummy can do better than this, but it's still insanely hallucinogenic how crazily real his madchestra psounds.

Man, this is gorgeous... Probably one of the best surprises I've ever had from OCR. Really, really tender and soulful

Chemical "Hill" Zone...? Why the heck does it remind me of this ?
Happy botday anyway!
OCR03675 - Sonic the Hedgehog 3 "Samba del Anjos"

I don't think it's THAT far, actually. It may not be what I'm used to identify as a contemporary Carnaval parade samba-enredo (which was the source of inspiration for one of my mixes) and the bass drum beat could probably highlight just a bit more of the track rhythmic presence at times, but I can hear the samba here. I've already heard many orchestral arrangements of traditional samba music which sounded pretty similar to this.
