  1. First, each character has 4 special moves, not 3. Second, they've been doing that with every character. EDIT: Hurr, right. He already announced the down-B. Regardless, my second point still stands.
  2. We don't even know that there will be a boss from each game. At this point, it looks like Kirby will be fighting Petey anyway, not Mario.
  3. I meant in terms of appearance, dick. They are both ill-proportioned cute little kids with big heads.
  4. Or their axe. Aesthetically, the main Animal Crossing character isn't all that significantly different from, say, Ness.
  5. Yeah, might as well throw the game out now.
  6. Or do, if you're playing with Pikachu. 4x lightning weakness
  7. In the original and Melee, every game that had a stage also had a playable character. And an Animal Crossing character is no more illogical than, say, Mr. Game and Watch. A moveset is pretty easy to create, actually. I'm not saying that an AC character is definitely in, but it doesn't seem as unlikely as you're making it out to be. Also, way to completely ignore the most obvious sarcasm I've ever seen in my life in my earlier post. EDIT: Since they're looking at a lot of more recent games, Shadow Lugia from Pokémon XD could appear as a Pokémon boss. XD was a shitty game, but a boss fight with Lugia could still be interesting.
  8. So, assuming they'll have one boss from each series, make your predictions here! Mario: Petey Kirby: Dedede DK: K. Rool Metroid: Mother Brain Zelda: Ganon (after a fight with Ganondorf, who will still be playable) Metal Gear: REX Star Fox: Andross Yoshi: Kamek Pokémon: Pokémon Trainer-type Team Rocket character with Arbok, Muk, and Persian. Fire Emblem: yawn F-Zero: Black Shadow Kid Icarus: Eggplant Wizard Animal Crossing: Crazy Redd Wario: Dr. Crygor ALL OF THESE OPTIONS ARE HIGHLY LIKELY. ALL OF THEM. ESPECIALLY CRAZY REDD AND THE THREE RANDOM POKEMON I CHOSE. AND MOTHER BRAIN OVER RIDLEY. AND EGGPLANT WIZARD OVER MEDUSA.
  9. Neat update. I figure which one you save just changes the progression of adventure mode. It's probably has separate paths like Star Fox.
  10. But Blathers hates bugs! (and doesn't seem to draw a distinction between spiders and insects)
  11. I've never actually seen Resetti in Animal Crossing.
  12. Oh yeah, forgot about the axe. I was more going with how you can actually hit people in Animal Crossing with the net.
  13. I was thinking more: B: Slingshot - A charged ranged attack. >B: Net - A strong attack. Can reflect (like Ness' bat) if timed correctly. ^B: Fishing Rod - If you strike your opponent, it will grab them and draw them close to you. Also used as a tether recovery. vB: Shovel - Digs your opponent into the ground, temporarily stunning them. Final Smash: Golden Weapons - All of his B moves become temporarily faster and MUCH more powerful, both in terms of damage and knockback. His attack-while-grabbing could be to shake the opponent like a tree.
  14. I had the idea of unlocking your own specific Animal Crossing character from your copy of AC:WW by connecting your DS to your Wii via wireless connection. The character will have the appearance and name of your character in Animal Crossing, and could be updated to correspond to changes in your appearance in AC at any time simply by reconnecting the DS to the Wii. If you do not have a DS or Animal Crossing, the character could be unlocked by playing against someone else's Animal Crossing character online, in which case you will gain access to that character (in terms of appearance and name). Similarly, an AC character could be saved onto the Wii controller or an SD card and transferred between machines.
  15. Of course, that doesn't mean there won't be in Brawl. There were plenty of things in Melee that had no precedent in the original game. That said, I don't think a playable Animal Crossing character is unlikely.
  16. Never played Animal Crossing, huh? That is K. K. Slider singing. I'm wondering if the instrumental version plays usually, but K. K. Slider starts singing from 8pm-midnight on Saturday nights (hence what he means by "Heroes always arrive late").
  17. assuming predictability is an important factor of goodness
  18. No, I think it's more likely that they're basing it on the 2D spaceship shooter from 1997. I'm guessing that the Javelin ship will be introduced as a playable character soon.
  19. It's probably just a glob of whatever that he's spitting at Mario. He spits things all the time. And I have never liked the way K. Rool looks. A fat, retarded crocodile? Meh.
  20. ugh the world needs less petey piranha let's hope he's not playable edit: for those who need it,
  21. I just watched a couple (Falco vs. IC, Link vs. IC 1) before the quality and glare started hurting my eyes, but you seemed to be handling yourself pretty well. You seemed more careless in the beginning of the Link match, especially with your grabs, but you got back into it by the end. I know it's a lot easier to say this when not actually playing, but there are times where Link's attacks (particularly his up- were fairly predictable, and you just took it. And, of course, there are a few places where your timing could use work, but that's true of pretty much everyone. In terms of play mechanics, you seem to know what you're doing.
  22. Pretty much every Jiggly player I've known...scratch that...every player of any character I've known knows how to play at least one other character. If you can only play one character, you'll probably get shut down pretty quickly (especially given that if you can actually play one character well, you should be able to play other characters at least decently by proxy). Jiggly is (or perhaps was, given that I haven't played in probably over a year) my main, but toward the end of when I was playing, I usually favored Ice Climbers and Y. Link just for the variation, having played Jigglypuff so much earlier on.
  23. Jigglypuff is pretty much the only character I really don't want them to cut.
  24. yeah it can't be right if it doesn't match your random conjecture i figure it's wrong for any number of reasons, but it seem infinitely more likely than anything you said in your post
