Well it's pretty obvious I'm his opponent so... I'm going to start this Sunday when I'm off work. Until then I'll just go over some ideas.

I have been too. I was HOPING I'd get some kind of advantage by knowing who my opponent would be so I could start early. But NOOOO my opponents had to make it difficult, I didn't get Hylian Lemon. lol

Admittedly Bubbleman would be easier to work with. Plus I have an ingenious idea utilizing a mysterious "3rd source" into that matchup, nothing fancy, just a little cameo. I'll tally them up real quick.

Thanks to those who gave me some feedback on my track. Nice to know I at least had something going, this time around I'll be better prepared. Hopefully I'll get to square off with Gario.

Dang it, I don't know who is going to win between GuitahHeroe and Gario. In some ways I'd rather work with Bubbleman over Windman. If I do get to work with Bubbleman I'm going to do a spacey-aqua type song.

After listening to everyone else's arrangements, I feel so ashamed... :'( I'm excited by how good each track is, very difficult to vote for the most part.

Well technically you will get something... Just an incomplete WIP. lol If I get the chance though I'll come back and complete the song later. Once I actually purchase FL Studio and am not using this stupid DEMO version. Which was a shame because I looked forward to his entry. But in the end that's Halc... I'm the musical noob.

Yeah I submitted what I did have to Darkesword, so I'm still in. I'm warning everyone now, it is rough. Unfortunately I couldn't devote more time as I didn't realize this week is inventory prep week at work. Somehow any victory will be hollow... It's like winning a marathon, crippled, just because the other runner is dead... Oh well, a win is a win. Hopefully if I get a second chance I actually have time to devote too it. :\

I'm so very sorry, but I haven't even finished my mix. I'm going to have to drop out. Work has been brutal and have had no time to work on this at all.

Yeah well be thankful you haven't spent 5 hours just for 0:39 of work. :\

Oh nevermind...

Boy is that going to be interesting to hear. So I restarted on my project, decided to go a different route with my bass. Decided to use some 80's stabs, sped it up a bit. Kind of channeling a "Quickman"-esque feel. Now I'm trying to figure out how to mix Sparkman's background arp into Pumpman's bass. Going to switch around the arps to both songs, if I can.

Man I'm still trying to work up the motivation to get back started on my mix. After finding out I can't reopen project files in the demo version of FL Studio I lost like 3-4 hours of hard work. That is still killing me because I had some creative (for me anyways) crap going down!

Thanks for the advice, I'll keep that it mind. Just hate having to redo three hours of work. :\

Oh no, I just found out something awful!!!! The demo version of FL Studio won't let me reopen my project file! T_T This is awful, I can't get back into my work. I worked hard on that bassline!!!

Well it looks like I'm going in the "house" direction so I'm going to follow this and see where I end up...
