Your bias is suprisingly warranted in this situation. I like this remix too. I'm trying to think of the words to describe it, but honostly, it's difficult. I often find that it's easier to write a review of a bad remix than of a good one, simply because there's more to say. The enitre thing works well together, as one whole piece, and the synth effects are very smoothly intregrated into the main piano piece. Just download this exelent remix already!

I'm not a big fan of this one either. The only thing i like about dune is the astral projection song. There isn't too much substance to this remix, IMO. I find it extremely rare that samples are used well enough to warrant being used at all in a song. I'll pass on this one, thank you very much.

Not a bad remix, it invokes a cool feeling with the begining, but that panflute is too loud for it's own good. It's not a bad remix, although i think pretzel's review was a bit too forgiving. But then again, he can't really be mean in his reviews.

Yes, it's insane. Not as insane as the classic mustin piece (the atomizer), but still insane. I like it though. Even though it's absoutley crazy, it somehow works. Not my favorate remix, but it's good fun.

Groovy. While i feel that this piece is more atmospheric than anything else, it still works very well. I love the drums in this piece

I'm going to have to disagree with the masses here. It just seems repetitive to me. It's got some decent qualities, but the second half repeated that passage way to many times. And don't ask me what passage. If you've ever heard this mix you know what i'm talking about

It's one of the most raw pieces on overclocked playlist, second to only jivmasters mix from way back. I like it, it's a bit too hardcore, and the base is too clean, and there are a few balance issues, but it IMO captured and morphed the theme of monkey island BTW, the curse of monkey island was the best game in the series, hands down. The only problem was that long-winded insult dueling part

IMO, the first great remix of AmIEvil. It's got some very weird progressions that all somehow seem to work together. I think pretzel was right about how he should work in the movie industry

I usually am not a big fan of any of the CotMM remixes, but this one just struck me differently than their other remixes. It just has a nice, smooth beat that for some reason makes me think of mourning over a tragic event. I realize that sounds pretty abstract, it's a moot point. CotMM put together a great remix

This is probably my favorate mix peroid. I've never understood the underwater feel that several have described, but it's just a beautful, relaxing, remix. The best replacement for "sleepy time tea" at the cost of zero dollars

IMO, a bit heavy on the distortion, but the mix still works well. It's just so difficult to describe this mix, it's beautiful in a bizzare, undescrible way

I like this piece too. It's good, bouncy, house fun. I can't think of how this piece would hurt anyone's ears. The only painful songs i can think of are the rygar and the famous yoshi remix.

This could be a decent remix, if the highs wern't so damn painful. I'm sorry, but this piece hurts my innocent audiophile ears too much

I really liked this piece too, dispite my general distaste of the genre. It's very smooth and emotional, and has grown on me quite a bit. Great job chef!

I like this remix. It really does give the old flying battery theme, my favorate from all the sonic games, a gritty, kick ass theme to it. I agree though, he recorded it way to loud. Makes a poor bridge on my mix CD from the piano Radical dreamers remix, to hazama's great suikoden remix. Atleast there's a 2-3 second pause before the song, so i can skip it if i want. If nothing else, it's a good showpiece for bassy speakers, like the z-560's

I'm not quite as happy with this mix as you are. Amievil has proven to be one of if not the best remixer on this site, with his megaman 4 remix "Let there be light" and with his equally as exelent "4 little metroids" I found myself kind-of disapointed with this remix. There's nothing wrong with it, but it just doesn't isn't the same as many of his other remixes

I agree. It's hardly an epic piece, but it's good 70's groovy fun
