  1. We can't stop here, this is bat country! ... Or were you refering to a country owned by Batman? Anyhow, this seems like pretty basic... What do they call it nowadays? Trance? Well, it's not really my scene. Still, this can get pretty good at points, and it does seem like it'd play during a car chase or badass gun fight. The part that starts at 1:20 is especially hectic and crazy in the best way possible. All in all, cool song, definitely, but there's not a lot in it that makes it stand out to me.
  2. EPIC. At first, I was wondering, "Just where are these 'pipes' the title bragged about?" And then they kicked in. And it was awesome. Great job, man. I can't throw any technical jargon at ya, but I HAVE listened to the source, and I think this is an awesome treatment of it. I just wish I could have downloaded it... Or did I miss that option? Hm. I'll have to listen to it again, I guess.
  3. Huh, it's almost too 'quiet' at parts. Other than that, it's very relaxing, almost Jazzy. It's nice to see someone take MWTMG in some other direction than techno. Not that there's anything wrong with that, either.
  4. This matches up great! Wow. I hope to see more stuff like this.
  5. I thought the atmosphere was great. Good work.
  6. The lyrics are good, but I felt kinda cheated by how short it was. Maybe add another verse. Also, something isn't clicking about the music itself. It's like it almost clashes with the lyrics. Other than that, I like the direction this is heading in. I agree with Gario, not enough FFVI remixes out there, and certainly not enough ones of 'Forever Rachel'.
  7. Wow. My first thought when I realized that the vocals were Mega and Gravity Beetle going against eachother was "Holy crap, Mega's fighting Zeromus!" I blame the track off of the FFIV Album. Still, epic nonetheless. I would really have liked it more if I could've understood GB a bit more, though, and the end where he gives the sad speech was very hard for me to hear. And this album looks great! I've been following the FFIX and SD3 albums, so I neglected checking this out sooner. Shame on me, that's unacceptable.
  8. Not that bad. I've been following this since it's first version, and it'd be a darn shame if it was dropped. Just find something better to replace the guitar other than that synth. Of course, that's just my unprofessional opinion.
  9. Part of me wants to turn it off, but... Part of me has to listen. And I can't help but laugh imagining Uematsu in a recording studio with them.... God, 9/10 for the mere fact that you made this. The only problem is that the music sometimes doesn't stand out above the lyrics and that sometimes I don't hear any Uematsu tunes in the background. But when I do recognize one and pick it out, it's priceless.
  10. Cool. I like the piece. But I'm no expert in remixing nor a good judge of quality. What sounds great to me may not be so to others. So far, it's spot on and epic. ...But you do know that it cuts off at 1:20, right? I'd really wanted to hear the whole thing, as this is one of my favorite themes. You might want to fix that.
  11. I'm listening to a little something I found while tooling around the internet. I think the title of it was... Bad Tuna. ...Why are my ears bleeding?
  12. Very cool, very nice, about as good as the original without being the same. Sadly, I didn't really enjoy the original. This was definitely a well done piece, though, even if it doesn't meet my personal tastes. So, don't Besaid, man, you did great.
  13. Wow... I joined OCremix's forums when I learned of this project, and for good reason. I have listened to the remixes on this site for at least a year now, and they've all been great. The albums are usually pure gold. I'm just surprised that no one's picked Jesters of the Moon or Sleepless City Treno. Both have catchy melodies, I thought. Just seeing this project makes me wish I had some measure of musical talent... Really looking forward to this Album. So many good remixers are listed on the tracks!
