Th1 2 of the guitar rig releases peavey gtr something by waves amplitube or what ever it spelt.. Im saving for a 5150 i fornd for 700 or a 6505 for 1,025, not a bad price and i will by a bogener cube, im now going to stop procastinating my dream tone

They sound to.. harsh and weak in mids and highs at the same time (except guitar rig distortion pedals which sound unusually great. ) and very weak in gain, or could it be my audio card, altho i doubt that, i think im going to start double micing amps now ehh altho I will need another sm57 so I can get the inner cone and the outer cone speaker at the same time for a warn and trebly tone, which i was avoiding so I dont have to spend money on a second shure . I also tried the peavey sim, and it does not really sound like a 6505 to me, some tones do, but way to weak in gain as well. Any tips? P.S But no doubt amp sims have GREAT clean tones, but when overdriven, i'll rather use fl slayer then my dinky (oh no di'ent!)

I was wondering if recording twice with little imperfections would give the same effect as copy and pasting and delaying a one of the tracks? This track I recorded twice and delayed one tracks by a few ms, then when the guitar is comming in, I just copied and pasted take one on guitar tracks with the same delay settings http://soundcloud.com/aires/dorian-practic-track-test

hay not my fault my moniters broke down (and that mixing on a Jvc stereo system sucks) but I have back up headphones anyways and will repost this . BTW MODS MOVE THIS TO ORIGINAL!

Did now know the sample I posted sounded like crap on every thing eles, man i need to buy Moniters, this $80 stereo will not do, i will ude my headphones for now.

So tell me, altho your not coordinated enough to play a song on acoustic, you can play it on electric? the only really diffrence is the toughness of the strings, and as outlaw said, not real diffrence, if you suck at one, you suck at the other.

Yah what gain should i use on my sound card so i can just adjust the gain on a amp sim. its not like an amp when I only have one gain setting depending on the channel, but now theres 2 because there a gain setting on my interface and amp sim. any idea? and im using peaveys amp sim and sometimes guitar rig (I quad track btw altho i dont think you guys need to know that XD)

I agree with this completly, but acoustic strings feel a bit heavy/thicker When I moved from acoustic to electric the first time aswell as some friends of mine, the eletric felt very awkward, as you said it felt like you need way more expression to play eletric and more stability especically with distortion, it was like playing a new instrument.

Well he did say he wanted an electric, and you never know if his eyes get caught by one of those sexy floyd guitar XD.

Should I explain tuning a Floyd set-up and how to tune to other tunings besides E standered ( F , Eb , D ,C# standered tuning)? Its harder then tuning a fixed bridge guitar, including what snapple said. 2. Its NOT EASIER TO PLAY GUITAR ON ELETRIC.... seriously wtf.... its SOFTER to play on the electric which requiring less finger strength, if you cant play a song or a melody on acoustic then 9.9 times out of 10 your not going to be playing it on electric either without practice and practice transfers. Its best to start with Acoustic! to build strangth then move on to electric, altho you dont have to, but if your doing chordal work alot, electric will take more time for you to build strength but either way you will get to where you aim to go.
