  1. Sorry to keep you guys waiting! I've been extra busy, but here's a short summary of where this album is headed next. I'll be updating the first post later today. Short summary: Top 6 games listed here can't be claimed: http://ocremix.org/system/ps1/games/?&offset=0&sort=mixcountdesc Multiple remixers can claim a single game. However, the sources AND styles must be different! There is no longer a restriction on ports, but at my discretion, I may turn your claim down. For example, even though Chrono Trigger was on the PS1, I wouldn't allow it. I've got 11 wavs so far, and they're all good to go. If anyone wants to change anything, feel free to do so. Approx. deadline: Q2 2016. I'll figure out the exact date when I update the first post.
  2. This is good. Better than I expected. I have a feeling it's gonna get darker and more mature. Which means it'll get even better. The only thing I was disappointed in was no digivolution sequences in the final battle.
  3. Sorry, but at this point it's blatantly obvious these people are just milking money from their fans/followers by over-blowing the problem. I don't know how anyone can not see that.
  4. Copypasting streifig's post from DoD forums. After a long time, finally a free month! If you have any unreleased songs with live instruments, feel free to submit them!
  5. I'm trying to restructure the album idea a bit, since I didn't make it in time for the 20th anniversary and I don't wanna wait for the 25th I'll make a post in the next few days with more details.
  6. Great work you two! And nice to see streifig posted here finally Btw, if anyone wants more Marshall Art awesomeness, their shows at last two Magfests were pretty damn great.
  7. Oh damn, I didn't see the deadline was a bit earlier this time, rendering and uploading!
  8. I started working on a pretty interesting arrangement yesterday and wanted to finish today but I'm having a terrible headache. Got around a minute done, I'll try to expand it to a bit over two minutes and send it :/

  10. Sry, I've been busy all morning so I couldn't post the log until now: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/93696675/SFRGRound6Party.txt Thanks again to Timaeus for providing the log (I got disconnected for a little bit near the start).
  11. I'm going out of town later today and I'm returning tomorrow evening, so if you guys want a listening party before Thursday, someone else should host it.

  13. Sry for the double post, just posting the listening party logs. Thanks to timaeus for sending these since I had some connection problems in the middle and lost a chunk of the logs: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/93696675/SFRGRound5Party.txt
  14. Happening in around 20-30 minutes, I have some stuff to do so I won't be able to start it exactly at 7PM EDT.
  15. Don't have time for mixing, gonna start uploading my song now. Had to rush with recording so excuse my sloppiness
  16. I had an idea. Made around a minute. Then an hour ago I deleted it and started with something completely different. Wish me luck.
  17. I wanted to contact every artist to hear their opinion but I may as well post it here: I'm waiting on a few wavs and the artwork. I've been way too busy with stuff and I barely had any time to even think of this album and bother people a bit to get things done sooner. Most of this is my fault because I started the album idea too late, and I should've known I'd get busy near the end of college and during the summer. I've been thinking a bit about it, and as things are standing now, there are two options: 1. Submit the album next week, get it released as an OCRI somewhere in October/November which is a bit late but still okay for the 20th anniversary in my opinion. 2. Open up the album for all ps1 games, get it done anytime this or next year and then release it as a full OCRA album, but without paying respect to any particular anniversary Like I said, I'd like to hear people's opinions on this. I've told this to Rexy yesterday and she feels that there are gonna be conflicts around popular games if we go with the option no. 2.

  21. Right now it's almost 1am for me, the listening party starts in an hour! #ocrcompo irc channel on esper.net. And I have no trouble staying up until 3am during summer days. I make up for the lack of sleep in the afternoon when it's too hot to do anything else anyway
