I just updated the rules regarding cancelled games. I’m only ReMixing games that have been finished and released on the Saturn. Games that we’re meant to be on the Saturn will NOT be accepted. I’m sorry guys, but that’s my decision. Regarding Segata Sanshiro’s theme, I am fully aware the song is technically a TV advert. But since he is somewhat of a mascot for this console (and had his own game) it would be a criminal offence not to remix it. I’m not expecting this song to pass the ocr judges and added to the library. I just thought it would be nice to give his theme a more up-to-date take. But if this can’t be helped, then I’ll remove Segata Sanshiro’s theme off the list, without any hassle… -

'Project director: Dave the Rave (that’s me) Assistant director: TBA CURRENT NEWS: 18 March Well everyone, since a lot of you have expressed high support of my idea from the original topic, I’ve decided to myself “Oh why not? Let’s do this thing!” Let’s get recruiting! As I’ve mentioned, I will need help from someone with more experience in album projects then me. I will do my very best to help however I can. If anyone has any suggestions of a better title for our album, don’t be afraid to say so. THE RULES 1) Only SEGA Saturn games can be remixed. If the game was originally from the Arcades, then ported onto the Saturn, I’ll consider it. If the game was also available on the PS1 and/or N64 (mostly PS1), but has not yet been remixed on either of these lists, I’ll think about it. 2) One ReMix per game or series. I know we all like/love NiGHTS into Dreams… (I personally prefer the Wii sequel any day(oh yeah, I went there!)) But there are 596 Saturn games, from well-known to obscure, that deserve the OCR treatment. Here’s a list of Saturn games to help you. 3) Any music genre is welcome. Pretty self explanatory. THE TRACKLIST For now, I’m only looking to get at least 20 ReMixes for this album. But we might add more. And as an added bonus, we’ll do 2 variations of Segata Sanshiro’s theme. We need to get this album out in time for November 22nd 2014, in time for the original Japanese release 20 years ago. However, if push comes to shove, I’ll be willing to push it back to 2015 (somewhere around June maybe) at the latest. I'll post an organised timetable later in the week. -

A week or so ago, I’ve been thinking of an idea for an album. On November 22nd 2014, will mark the 20th Anniversary of the SEGA Saturn (in Japan). So I thought to myself “What if Overclocked ReMix made an album dedicated to this console?” So I thought I’d pitched this idea with you lot and see how many of you would be interested in it. Now I’ve already read the Project Guidelines & I might need someone with more experience with album projects then me to lend a helping hand, since this will probably be my first album project. I’m also fully aware there are lots of album projects, some of which that are in desperate need of getting finished. However, I am willing to push it back to 2015, for the Europe or US release dates respectively, if push comes to shove. And finally, the rules will be similar to the Game Boy 25th Anniversary album. Anyway, that’s my idea. If you guys like this, please let me know & we’ll work our way from here.

I got this game (and a new PS3, since the old is broken) for Christmas. So far, I'm really enjoying this game. For the most part, it pretty much blew the first one out of the water. Oh and before I forget, the results for the DLC challenge are as follows... 1) Ryo from Shenmue 2) Hatsune Miku 3) Segata Sanshiro Sorry for not telling you the results sooner. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is just DAYS AWAY from being released! Depending on which version your getting, the release dates are as follows… PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 Europe November 16, 2012 US November 20, 2012 Wii U US November 18, 2012 Europe November 30, 2012 Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita Europe November 16, 2012 US December 11, 2012 Microsoft Windows, iOS TBA Oh and two last things I should mention. There’s a that basically demonstrates how the Wii U version is gonna play and finally, Pudding from Space Channel 5 joins the roster.So who’s looking forward to this game? I know I am! -
It's called the Little Planet. The only time it's ever been called the Miracle Planet is in "Sonic the Comic", a comicbook series in the UK.

I’m surprised that no one has made a topic about this yet. Back in March, a new anime called Aoi Sekai no Chuushin de was announced. It wasn’t until a few days ago that this news has spread. You can find more info about it here and here. Will this be any good you may ask? Well we will find out soon enough, on October 20th.
