Looking forward to this beast as well. The BadAss series is one of the coolest projects ever in OCR's great history in my opinion.

If you are thinking about VV IV somewhen, I would love to join the project with fan art contributions by the Game-Art-HQ Community similar as it was done for the Final Fantasy IX Album. We did a Castlevania Tribute back in 2013 already and I know a good couple artists that would probably like to draw Castlevania Fan Art for these Albums.

Thanks a lot @ everyone who was /is involved in this project.

Hiya, the direct download link for the Vampire Variations I album is not working anymore here http://ocremix.org/album/172/vampire-variations-a-musical-tribute-to-castlevaniaand on the VV page you can only find the 2nd album it seems. OC ReMix presents Final Fantasy IX: Worlds Apart!
GBK666 replied to Liontamer's topic in Announcements
My name is Reinhold Hoffmann and this is one of the best days of 2015. Thanks @DJP and everyone else who made our first big collaboration possible, I believe that it is awesome to see a massive tribute to one of the best video games ever made that is both a fest for the ears and for the eyes. @OCR Album Project Founders, don't hesitate to contact me if you are looking for artists to create cover art and additional artworks like for this album, we are very open to those projects and glad to be a help. Well, I did not ask for that, actually. Next time I should do that. (Daaamn these drops are heavy wubwubwub)

The Game-Art-HQ Community is proud to confirm that visual art will be contributed to OCR Albums in the future after all tracks are completed to delay any albums for a couple of weeks or better months more. This was a hard decision for us all, but we are sure that it will benefit the fan communities in the end. We are also working hard to delay the FFIX World Apart Album to 2017 now and are working already on more illustrations which will be published for another trailer that is sheduled for July 2016. Final Fantasy IX had the longest loading times of all Final Fantasy games on the original Sony Playstation, so it is only natural that anything FFIX related takes longer than expected. Please Understand
-
Since they are fan art, better contact the artists directly for any questions like that.
-
Excellent work with the trailer!

Its exactly 0:00 AM here in Germany now Happy Birthday Final Fantasy IX!!

Should I wait with the Art Gallery of the Final Fantasy IX Worlds Apart Illustrations by and on Game-Art-HQ.com till the Album is out or do you have no problem with them being featured on the 7th?

Heya, Reinhold here from Game-Art-HQ the video game fan art community that was inspired by ocr. http://www.wearejustgamers.com/ I started a new webproject last week. A gaming news, reviews and opinions blog without any ads, without any ideas to make money with it. Its getting funded through the ads on ga-hq actually. There are a ton of video game websites already that are often just re-blogging the same news about the currently "biggest" games. I saw that something like Destiny or Titanfall last year got hundreds of articles on one of the big gaming sites alone. There are not so many gaming sites today without the infamous "clickbait" articles and reviews and articles like how something in a game offends the writers (SJWarriors) or is not OK according to them. I try to build up a new completely independent site there and got already a handful of pretty cool gamers together that started writing reviews and opinion pieces, ranging to discussing boss battles to problems in the game industry or remembering a couple of funny finishing moves in fighting games. There are also a couple of blogs each week about great cosplayers, (game) artists, video game music albums and I myself am going to feature some of the ocr remixes as well through the youtube videos. Of course always with a backlink to ocr as well. It would be awesome to have 1-2 gamers on board that can bring their opinions to the table from the sight of a game musican, the site has a few commenters already but more can't hurt of course. I can't pay anything, I don't earn anything, the site is there to be a fun and informative place for gamers without the bullshit you can see often. If the topic here is not okay, please delete it. Greets, Reinhold

Lets just delay it to July 2020 already and have over 5 more years for an amazing amount of songs and artworks. Cheers + see you in July (MAYBE)

Hiya, like said all artworks are done and I am waiting for a e-mail response from someone from OCR since a good while now. There seemed to be a little problem since it was requested to get all te images in psf files with multiple layers but that was requested weeks after the game-art-hq community members worked on the submissions, and not everyone from them is using photoshop or even multiple layers. I have the majority of the files in big jpg's. As said, I am still waiting for a response. Reinhold Hoffmann Game-Art-HQ.com

The artworks are all done since a while!
-
I love transparency. Got 15 art pieces together now, 2 more will arrive tomorrow and next week. How many songs are left ?
-
Am just back from work, removed the big cover art,I don't have a thumbnail of it right now (and am hungry) will make one tomorrow. Glad @ everyone who liked the artworks so far. For us it is a real honor to work on an official collaboration with OCR and make the Final Fantasy a damn great Music and Art Tribute.
-
Yeah, those are thumbnails of course, thought those are better for this forum thread than the big versions which can be seen on the dA profiles of the artists. I have three variations with different fonts for the cover: Edit: Removed the Cover, Don't have a thumbnail atm, am going to make a package of all the artworks later anyway
-
Thats great . Two more are ready, Quina and an illustration of the villains by the artist wh also made the Amarant piece. I expect the majority of the artworks next week, am often getting the submissions in the last 3 days before a deadline ends. by SuperEdco who also made the new Album Cover Queen Brahme and other villains by Blackorb00
-
The next one is done By Blackorb00 Edit: Yes this is from 2013 and was not done now, but the artist which is a long-time GA-HQ member and a big of Final Fantasy IX asked me personally if this piece can be part of the project and I hope thats okay for everyone else as well.
-
This is around 5 years in the works? Woooah. The next of the artworks is ready, this time its Eiko and her Moogles. It was made by Skence There will be a few more artworks than planned but I bet not all of them will be finished this month. There will be some Bestia /Eidolons/Summons related artworks including Odin. And sorry but nobody wanted to draw Nicholas Cage as a Final Fantasy IX character
-
Number 3 is done also got a couple more artists together today. Maybe some of the villains and the bestia will be illustrated as well. There is one big Alexandria & Alexander illustration in the works for sure. By http://lilith-the-5th.deviantart.com/
