I love this! One thing to say is that the short high notes are sometimes a little too harsh on the ears and disrupt a little bit of the volume levels of the mix. This is really awesome, though! You might also want to even out a few other areas in terms of volume (although that might just be a personal gripe).

This might just be a personal thing, but for some reason the piano sounds really distorted. It isn't that much of a big deal if you were originally going for that, but it sort of makes the whole thing at the beginning sound sort of off-key. There are also a few chords that clash with a few notes in a sort of bad way. It does sound really nice overall, though. Keep up the good work!

@Mirby: After a pretty positive response to this, I've made the decision to keep working on this. I'm hoping to add at least another minute and a half (and possibly more) on top of that. @Kuolema: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I'm actually going to go back over each part and try to create some more dynamic contrasts. As I just said, I'm also going to be adding a bit more to make the remix a bit more unique. Personally I like the speed, and I think it just gives a sense of urgency that wasn't necessarily there in the original (for example at around 0:55 in the YouTube version). This was actually intended to be the final version, but so far the mixture of extra ideas I've been thinking of and the positive response has made me reconsider, so I'll be working on this bit more.

@TheMrkuul: Thanks for the advice! I tried using reverb more prominently (and a bit of phasing) but I can never really get the balance right. @TheMrkuul: I know what you mean about the bells. I'll try and find another sample for the next time I update this. Also, on the subject of reverb, how much - generally - is too much? I always try to go for fairly small amounts, but even then it causes some distortion and decrease in quality. @TheRexAsaurous: Thanks for the advice! I'll try and use something else to share it next time. Is SoundCloud any good for that? As for the Celeste at 1:48, that was a typo (or at least it sounded okay before I re-listened to it with that in mind). I've fixed that. I'm also in the process of making it longer, adding some of my own ideas and possibly adding some other instruments. Are there any you think might work well in the mix? @BlackRazgriz: Thank you! This is my second ever remix, so I hope it's not THAT bad. The actual remixed section starts at about 1:28. Suggestions and criticisms would be great!

I'm an amateur when it comes to remixing, so if anybody has any suggestions I'd really appreciate them. This was made a few months ago and I'm in the process of updating it with some of my own ideas and possibly a few variations. Obviously, this is my own arrangement, but if anything is clearly out of place I'd also be grateful if somebody could point that out. Thanks for listening!
