  1. I'm glad you liked my track, and good point about the wiki. I'm not sure how to change that myself but I'm sure someone here will be able to fix it up =)

  3. You... didn't recognize ice cap?... That's just... slightly odd... And yeah, I think in the future, it's probably not really the nicest thing to do - singling out tracks you didn't love. Maybe next time focus on your favorites or something, it's slightly less rude.
  4. Hey, I'm glad you liked three ring nightfall! I feel all validated and stuff =P It was certainly a weird track to take on, but i think most sonic music is. This one in particular took me a year to put together over all, including several phases including one point where it was actually destined to be a collaborative effort, with Ellywu2 mixing the drums. I still sort of feel that it would have been a better overall song if he'd stayed with me, but one day he just dissapeared from the net, and I haven't heard from him since so I ended up doing it all on my own~ But yeah, glad you liked it! ~Hadyn

  7. I think I should clear up what happened here. There were something like 15 tracks on the teaser site, and we all held a vote-off for a top 5 that would be added to the project. The top 5 voted were: Rayza's Azure Lake 14 Aku - water on the dancefloor 13 Hadyn - Heads Up For Tails 12 Kanjika - credits 8 Gamebox - Ice Cap 4 Life (WIP) 7 And Lava Passion/Hydrochill were also added as an extra bonus. The other teaser tracks will be made available eventually, but they're not part of the official project and thus will have their own, separate release when we decide the time's right =)

  10. I just realised we never posted my final boss track on the site... It was supposed to go up there, maybe there's still room for it?
  11. Yes. Yes it does. I actually noticed that yesterday, forgot to comment then, but seriously, nice work I'm still not sure I like the drop shadows/inner shadows/glows on the main logo though. I just think it needs to be flat colors - maybe with a slight gradient over the whole thing, but the shadows sort of collide too much with the colors as is. Especially on the knuckles emblem - the red doesn't mix with the greys very well at all. On the other hand, I could just do all this in my own version of the cover, which I'll do... soon... maybe. But yeah, you're free to do it how you like, really. Ignore me if you disagree with anything
  12. That's actually the "Andes" font, that is the font used in Sonic 3 & Knuckles. That's cool and all, but I still don't like it. This project isn't all about using old stuff. It's about taking old stuff, and making it cool, and an outline and drop shadow do not make that font cool. On the other hands, there are other ways you could probably use the font in a cool way, but as it stands I just don't like it's use on that cover.
  13. The sphere discs are a GREAT idea. I may actually use that for the official project art. On the other hand, I don't like the font, and I think you've used too many effects on the front cover. Keep it clean, get rid of all the bevels and drop shadows, and get rid of the weird directional blur on the tile background, it makes it look too messy. Keep it clean, and I'll have no problem at all linking this cover from the project site - and as I said, I may actually use that speher idea for the real projhect. Great idea, really. Nicely done.
  14. I just need to make sure you know about DPI settings. Screen stuff displays at 72 dpi - dots per inch - whereas print stuff displays at a much higher, sharper 300dpi. When you set the canvas size in a program like photoshop, you have the option of setting it to 300dpi to start with. Do this. If you simply increase the size later, ps will go all shitty and do a bad, pixelated interpolation, because it has to create information about pixels that didn't exist before. That's it in a nutshell... So yeah. 300dpi = the way to go. Other than that, nice work. We'll link this from the project site when it's done

  16. Alright, enough talk about the release date. You've had your warnings, if it keeps going on I'm taking the teaser site offline. Yes, a real, actual consequence. So please, just be patient. It's not far off, and it'll feel a whole lot less far off if you just stop talking about it.
  17. Maybe Hayden would like to clarify things, IF YOU SPELT HIS F*CKING NAME RIGHT. I'm not really pissed off, I just thought I'd scare you. Uhm, originally there was going to be a mini-game you had to complete to unlock the tracks, but I think it'll just be a straight download instead. The mingame never got further than a beta - that is to say it works, but isn't nearly polished enough for mass consumption. It was pretty cool though, I may still post the unfinished version. But yeah, bonus tracks will probably just be a zip file download, probably 128kbps. Probably.
  18. It may have something to do with the speed of your internet, try clicking it just once and waiting, see what happens. Otherwise, I have no clue what's wrong...
  19. All offers sounds good, but I don't know anything about torrents/how to make them/whatever. Also, I don't actualy have the project files - the songs, etc. I'm going to leave it up to Snapps and blue to distribute that stuff to any hosts or seeders, if that's alright with them. There's just not heaps I can do in that respect.

  21. I personally have to do stuff with the final release site, but I'm very busy right now and probably won't get onto it for another week or two. We also need to collect track bio's from each artist, find more mirrors if possible, and get some album cover art. There's probably more than just that, but yeah. I'd say there could very roughly be about a month worth of work. On the bright side, new tracks will be added to the teaser site soon-ish... probably over the weekend ^^

  24. Cheers guys! Wanted to add that you should check back again every few days, we're planning on adding more bonus tracks to the media player to keep you all going until the official project release!
