  1. This was the perfect bite in the arse to get me into the remixes. Glad to be a part of this!
  2. Thank you! I can also help with orchestration/arrangement. Maybe "orchestral production"?
  3. Sign me up for One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 - Beat the Nightmare! Also, I'd be happy to lend orchestral skills as a resource. Check out my sig if you need examples!
  4. https://soundcloud.com/kekopro/heart-and-hearth Happy Easter! Feedback welcome!
  5. Thank you, and sorry about the late post! Strings - Spitfire Sable Vocals - Shevannai Winds - CineWinds Percussion - Spitfire Percussion Harp - Forest Kingdom
  6. Hey Xouman, at first I was like, WHA?! Assassin's Creed? But I think I see what you mean now, especially during AC's more contemplative moments. I have yet to play Tales of Symphonia, but I've heard good things about the Tales series. Glad I could offer some inspiration to a fellow musician! Thanks for listening guys!
  7. Thanks for listening Emblem! I was definitely going for a more mysterious, dark sort of mood for this particular forest rather than the typical "happy, bright forest". I'm glad to hear you say it struck notes you didn't expect, as I was trying to achieve a distinctive sound. It is indeed shorter than my usual fare, since the fellow who commissioned it wanted it to be that short. I might come back to it and extend it, since it was fun to work on and I can probably find more ways to explore it. Thanks for the suggestion!
  8. https://soundcloud.com/kekopro/the-forgotten-weir This is a short loop commissioned for the forest theme of an upcoming fantasy RPG. Feedback welcome!
  9. I only listened to Polka, but I liked it! Nice shifting between the more chaotic segments and the smoother bits. Good variety too, and nice mix of acoustic and electronic.
  10. It's been a while since I did the whole hybrid deal, so this was refreshing! https://soundcloud.com/kekopro/blind-ambition
  11. Thanks Chris! Yeah, I'm trying to do some stuff outside the "epic trailer" sound. Nothing wrong with it (I'm guilty of it sometimes), but it's kind of everywhere these days. Used chamber strings on this instead of my big symphonic sections to give it a closer, more intimate feel.
  12. No problem! To clarify my post, I meant that it gave me the same feeling that the dojo scene in Matrix 1 gave me, not that your song sounded like a ripoff of it. Just wanted to make sure you didn't take it the wrong way.
  13. https://soundcloud.com/kekopro/aires-and-graces Let me know what you think!
  14. Nice! Definitely reminded me of the dojo scene at 0:31.
  15. Hey there, I like this; nicely composed. However, even though it's a loop, I think it can use more movement. It's all kind of one level right now, and I feel like there should be accented moments (maybe some brass stabs, cymbal crashes, low string ostinatos?) As it is, I feel it's a little two mellow for a final dragon boss. It's ominous, but it doesn't get my blood rushing as much as I want it to. Good start though, and I think with a little more work it'll get there!
  16. So the perfectionist in me went back and replaced the old choir with another choir library. I also tightened up some of the drums; I had intended them to be a bit loose, but I realized they were too loose in some places. Anyway, this new version is up (same link above)!

  18. Hey there, Nice textures and atmosphere. I tend to like dark and heavy stuff though, so maybe I'm a bit biased.
  19. Hey Daniel, thanks for the feedback. It's not in your head, it is a bit loose, but I felt it lent to the contemplative character. Definitely one of those borderline preference things.
  20. A man loses his pastoral life and is swept up in war. Now he has the chance to return home, but does he want to? https://soundcloud.com/kekopro/the-life-he-gave Feedback welcome!
  21. https://soundcloud.com/kekopro/navigating-the-night This is a demo for a video game Adventure/Exploration theme. Feedback appreciated!
  22. Hey there, welcome to OCR! For a first composition with no background in music theory, this is actually quite good! You've got good harmony and instrumentation going on there and it really shows a lot of promise. It's rough and raw, but you've got musical talent and that's, of course, the important thing. Keep working at it, and nice job!
