Someone tell me if I am wrong here, but... It seems like with Wii U, Nintendo is just catching up to the 360 and PS3 technology-wise, with HD and now third party support... Are they going to remain behind a whole generation due to this? When the PS3 and 360 new systems come out in a couple years, will Nintendo still be with this current technology or will they have YET ANOTHER console come out to compete with those 2?

They're appealing to the hardcore gamer by raising the graphic quality, and only making 1 controller -- because we all know hardcore gamers are forever alone, sitting in the basement with their bigass TVs and high-tech gaming systems, playing for hours on end, spouting racial slurs over the internet on their blue-teeth headsets.... ...the children will probably still have their wiimotes...

Nah, what I meant to say was, if you consider the faults of this before you buy it, you probably won't. So buy it first and enjoy it for a few days, then let it sit.

Sweeeeet! We've always loved tracker mod files at my home. Very distinct sound, and super enjoyable. This mix is pretty great, I will probably listen again. Crystal World is a great source from FF9 and this is a good rendition of it, love the darker Prelude vibes. This is getting me hyped for the ff9 album.

I think it's more along the lines of the FF13 dev team had no idea wtf they were doing at any point and made almost 2 games worth of crud, now they're deciding to package that other bit as a second game... @OCRE: They could hire Nobuo (like they did for FF14), get permission from Hironobu Sakaguchi to reuse his story and stuff, as for Tetsuya, he's probably on board... Apart from that I don't know but it probably wouldn't be too hard to get decent modern representations of things made while keeping these primary team members intact. Also I'd like to call this thread the "I'm disappointed that E3 was crap and nobody cares about the Halo 1 remake" thread

It usually works the other way for people The reason people are so stuck on graphic quality these days is because of how much all the games suck... they just suck sooo hard... and the good graphics are there to compensate for how much the games suck. The games with lesser graphics (wii) that are actually enjoyable (not shovelware) are then laughed at by gfx-nazis. If the games suck then the graphics are VERY important.

Square is making a sequel to FF13... Critics said ff13 was a flop but apparently it sold a lot of copies and justifies a sequel, I know a lot of people around here dig it. Anyway yeah, FF13-2. And that's the only game they mention at this E3, not including third party or blah blah bullcrap crap craps like Hitman and Fortune street. I don't understand how Square isn't like any other game company. I mean I just don't get it. I must be insane or completely oblivious but how does a company get as large and successful as Square used to be and NOT have a production company the same size as say, Epic, or Level5? I know of INDIE game developers who could remake a game the size of ff7 in less than 10 years and for a lot less than $50 million. I WANT MY MOTHER FUCKING FF7 REMAKE YOU FUCKS It should have take 3 years, 4 years tops. They should have had this thing under production since 2005. But they spent how many years on FF13 -- a game inspired by the style and characters of FF7? Development on FF13 began in 2005... They should have been able to make 2 games in that time. But oh wait, there's also FF13 Kingdom Hearts Mode, and FF13 Handheld Mode as well as FF13-2. So essentially Square took like 4 dumps instead of making two truly good games. Rant. I would play a halo reach remake if it was better than halo reach

Well, thank you. People may not agree with my opinion about Bat Man, but such differences of opinions are to be expected amongst unique individuals. I know people went crazy over The Dark Knight (I thought it was a good movie but I didn't go crazy over it).. I know that has something to do with the popularity of the Batman games, and the love for the characters in general, but I wouldn't let that cloud my judgment of what a good Batman game is... A good batman game, well, is Batman for the NES.
