I don't like the controller. It seems better suited as an intercom / coffee table video chat peripheral than a controller... Like people said, having the 2 pieces with the wiimote and nunchuk has been great, this seems like a step back to me.

It's a good point that you can tell a story with simple graphics... we're actually working on a playthrough of ff7 right now and it's mostly reading. But you can't deny that expertly crafted graphics have the ability to immerse you so much deeper into a story. That's probably why so many people are clamoring for a FF7 REMAKE and stuff. I dunno, I think Heavy Rain has about as much gameplay as a game like ff7, except replace the "press X during battles" with "do any number of things to work stuff in heavy rain" Imagine the Aeris death scene if it had the detail of the Heavy Rain finger-chopping-off scene

HD Graphics with Wii-motes blows my mind, that's just such an amazing idea... So the PS3 sort of did that, and technically they did it first, but it's cool to see Nintendo copying technology that will make their system funner

As for the whole low-end debate, the bass actually sounds fine in my wireless headphones. They are usually super inconsistent but this song sounds good through them. Streets of Rage... I'm reminded of my childhood with these great mixes. Nothing really to even say apart from that, it's a Willrock mix and it's good. (big surprise)

If you guys can hold on to your britches long enough, you can do what I did.. I got an Xbox360 Elite in 2009 for $299... COULD have waited longer until the slim came out, I don't regret this though. Got a PS3 also for $299 last Christmas, came with Uncharted 2, Karate Kid, Pixeljunk Shooter and a 160gb hard drive I think. It's good to wait. Yeah, I got a new Wii for $250, but then I sold it, then bought one after the price dropped. *shrug*

Good points here. -12db is probably a decent RMS range, that's why I aim for with most songs.. I've seen electronica go to like -6db RMS though, really pushing it! Don't iPods and things like that have some kind of auto-leveling with audio? I don't usually have to adjust volumes at all between songs but I have never used a USB stick by itself.. And the USB stick does auto-shuffle with the songs doesn't it? Hmmmm... Someone with more experience in normalizing RMS could help out here methinks Also good advice

You can't normalize a perceived volume, you'll have to do each song individually... Normalizing a library to 0db would just raise the volume up until the highest peak reached 0db. Every song is mastered differently.

If my music is in your library and you plan to normalize it, I'd prefer you delete it instead

Normalizing a music collection? This is about the worst thing I've ever heard on these forums
