Man, this arrangement is crushing; sort of like the world is being chiseled away piece by piece and there's not a thing you can do about it, but you're going to try. I love it.

I've next to no knowledge concerning soccer-- even when Mega Man is playing it-- but this is an impressive arrangement. Definitely avoids that choppy medley feel. I seriously couldn't believe it was that long-- didn't feel like it!

The mallets, while initially cute, eventually overloaded my brain and added to the frenetic terror that underlies the whole arrangement. I believe this is the music that would begin playing should baby spiders ever swarm out of my eyes.
That said, I dig it.

I don't have any Chrono Trigger nostalgia floating around in my brain, but I can appreciate an arrangement with this much soul. Feels very real. Love the rhythm. The distortion felt like it was drilling into my ears at first, but it mellowed out (or I did) and the rest of the trip was very cool.

Whoa.
Okay, now that I've caught my breath, I can safely say that the whole "epic" thing was achieved. I quite like how the melody was teased and hinted at through a good fourth of the song, only to come in with fists flying over and over again until the end. Definitely hearing the sequenced nature of the song, but like evktalo, I'm cool with it.
But man, what a ride!

Wow, that's a beautiful intro. And then, next thing you know, spaceships are takin' off and stuff is happening! I agree with Shariq; the guitars are joyous, and that's the way I like them. They really hit that sweet spot that I can't get enough of. Maybe OA should ReMix this ReMix.

I'm a little bit in love with 1:50.
Of course, I was a little unsure when the piano was joined by a slightly generic synth sound, but I ended up enjoying that juxtaposition-- and the ending had a distinct, lovely sound to it.
I like it!

On another note, don't listen to this song while you're driving, unless you want to have a heart attack.
I DID listen to this song while driving and I was laughing hard enough to endanger me and those in my vicinity. What a ridiculous raucous of an arrangement; so much fun, so much style. Might be my favorite song on the album, and that's saying something.

It's so cool to see Extra Credits branching out into spin-offs and new shows. I think what we need next is a cross between Extra Remix James Recommends-- a show in which a bunch of fascinating, under-the-radar video game soundtracks are examined.
Sephire, are you writing this down???

I dig it start to finish. I have a deep and everlasting love for the source material, and this adds a real punch to it (fittingly). Great work!

Take my comments with a grain of salt as this isn't really my genre and I'm not at all a musician, BUT! I can give you my opinion all the same.
The driving beat, I feel, was its greatest strength and greatest weakness. A strength because it kept up the momentum, but a weakness because it drowned out the melody (which was left a little muddy in the background). I enjoyed the divergence at the end, and would personally like to hear more of that with the Lost Woods theme playing a subtle part.
That's my two cents, anyway. Good luck with music-making!

I think I could listen to this forever exactly as is. Simple and almost criminally calming. I love the down to earth acoustic rhythm playing in tandem with-- what, was that some kind of woodwind? Beautiful.
I need to be alerted when this thing is done.

Why, Neon District is groovy as can be. Great rhythm. Never lose the bass. I'd love to hear more piano-- maybe a jazzy little solo could even sneak in there at some point!
Dusk actually gave me a bit of a Phantasy Star Online vibe. Maybe it was the synth, but either way, that's got to be a compliment.
A little repetitive for my tastes, but put in context could totally work.Anyway, that's my uneducated two cents!

Wow, when you said "forest theme for a fantasy RPG" I expected something pleasant, calming, and a bit generic; maybe some woodwind or jungle percussion to drive home the point.
But what I heard was quite beautiful, thoughtful as it struck notes I didn't really expect. The vocals added just the right touch of mystery. Best of all, I feel like it could loop a whole bunch of times before getting stale. That said, it is rather short. Any plans on extending it?
I like it, sir, for whatever that's worth!

This album is intense-- especially that artwork! A few of the tracks blew me away with sheer energy. That VikingGuitar is one mean shredder (wordplay hahaha). My favorite of the bunch might have been the collaboration between WillRock and Sixto Sounds, two ReMixers who never fail to be radical.
Really digging the thematic consistency-- it definitely felt like a cohesive album with a vision of rock-- even if it did start to blend together a little without more variety. But hey, I can't complain when so many songs are winners!
Oh, and thank you, Washudoll, for naming your contribution "Duh, Who Put the Lights Out?!"

A little repetitive and metal-tastic for my tastes-- HOWEVER. The creepy bits are so creepy that the wild, unkept guitar serves as good shock value and the finished product kind of rocks.
