Yay, DKC3! Yeah, I didn't manage to download any more than the first few seconds, but I kinda liked what I heard. The cave melody was playing at half tempo at the beginning though, which kinda bothered me. Also, has anyone heard the song "try again" by Aaliyah? I reminds me a ton of the song that plays in the treetop levels with the giant saw blades... I think it's called "Treetop tumble" in the sound test.

So... these remixes are, unlike other remixes, not pointless, because the source music is so cool to start with? Well, no matter - the game at hand deserves some remixing whether the coordinator likes remixes or not.

To be honest, I'm not sure I understood what you said there, either. I don't care much for the judges' opinions, either, (unless I'm asking them to give their opinions on my music, of course,) but I would care for an explanation of the above quoted post. I guess what you were trying to say was that you're not remixing to satisfy the judges, but... If you're not criticizing remixing in general, then what? How are out remixes different from the ones that you apparently don't like? How's e.g. my remix more than marginally more interesting than the original song?

Taking the above post into consideration, I'm willing to take on Animal Village when I'm done with Turtle Rock (and after I made a midi of Inside the Egg), if no one else has grabbed it by then.

Err: Argh! Overflow Meh. I was actually happy with my own version of this. Besides... there's no need to be this specific, is there? This really verges on a walkthrough. It's very clear and easy to read, but it's also a bit too comprehensive, imho. I mean... thanks for trying, but I think this wasn't really necessary. Why don't you try polishing the bios instead of re-writing them, by the way? I mean, some of them might as well be re-written (like my Doom Guy bio), but most of them are ok, save for some odd sentence here and there. I really appreciate your efforts, but I think your time would be more wisely spent improving the bios instead of replacing them. Even though - and I might as well say this out loud - your bios are probably the best written around here, it'll be no fun if you're the one who wrote them ALL. Like you said, you won't mind if you leave your revisions out, but then again, doing so would also mean you're wasting your time, and that's not what I want. I'm also sorry for not doing anything useful lately. I have this ball of string with knots on it and I need to prioritize the knots that are forming around my neck before I start with the ones around... other body parts. ...Nevermind, bad metaphor.

Should be illegal to sell unwashed clothes - they always shrink and you never know by how much before it's too late. Also, hoodies always have too small hoods and too short sleeves compared to the rest, and are always too wide compared to their length.

The vocal hits fx are nice, especially the one named "ah3".

Thanks for the heads-up, guys. I'll edit the topic title and change bowman to roberto, and add the new mascots. That's all I have time for right now. Are there any mascots with bios that have been replaced by the new ones? #101 didn't have a bio, so I don't care much for that one... but are there others? I like the new #105 better, btw Oh, and, Polo, I would like to compliment you on your "Nice Work Guy" bio, but it'd just result in a horrible pun, so I'll pass. Also, it seems that a collective bio, similar to the Coop's one for the Darkstalkers characters, is in order for the Marvel Characters as well. I know they're not part of the same "universe", but as I remember it, their appearances in the comic books seemed rather combinable.

Well, since I've played Mega Mans X1, X2 and X3 and still haven't seen any hint of Wily, I'd consider mentioning him and the X series in the same sentence would be a pretty grand spoiler. I'd also rather not have us delve into things like the "Zero Complete Works", since most of what's in there is likely thought up years after the original story...

You might possibly come off cheaper by buying a cable that looks the same way in both ends and then buying an adapter for changing it from the one kind of connector to the other. Sometimes "special" cables are rather expensive, for some reason.

Eh... that wasn't my point. The sadness could well be showcased in that style. And it's not to showcase the style, it's because it'd fit in that style. It sounds like the style already, only it's using gameboy sounds instead of a trumpet and a guitar. But if you think it's a bad idea, then it certainly won't be done, at least not for the project.

I'd prefer you'd start working on the Windfish ballad. I'd really like to hear it. Personally, I'd prefer to remix 3/96 over 74/96, but hey. I gave "inside the egg" a listen. Interesting, difficult song. If you want, I can produce an accurate midi of it sometime next week, if that helps you get started. That's the one thing I'm good at. I'm also a lot better at starting remixes than finishing them... Why is "choose a name" on the list of possible additions? Isn't that just a cut-down version of the original zelda theme? Also, Tal Tal Heights... I still think it would sound awesome in an Ennio Morricone style.
