Hmm, I've always wanted to try producing a rap beat, so maybe if you make some fire lyrics we could put something together (BTW here's an example of a rap beat I've made before even if its purpose is a bit cheesy, but if I could put produce something more legit and put some rap-style piano thing like this behind it and just edit it a bit, this could be pretty dope. Would you be interested?)

Oooh man whatever distortion effect you put on the guitar at the beginning got my nostalgia going so haaaard Just an icing sort of thing, but maybe if you put a phaser or flanger on it, you could capture the sound of the original track even more, but you don't have to. Other than that, I'm going to jump on the bandwagon of saying that the drums are not mixed the best. Is the kick drum playing the exact same rhythms as the bass guitar, or even at all? Cuz either the bass frequencies on the kick are being cut out by the bass guitar, or the attack on the bass guitar is too clicky.

I was planning to make it more of an operatic solo type thing, but I get what you mean. I was thinking of maybe adding a Chorus of an Ensemble affect to my voice to make it sound a bit fuller and wider, or maybe just putting a VST choir in the background to accompany (though my virtual choir is not the greatest, it still sounds decent). Or do you think it would sound better to actually just record myself .multiple times?

Don't forget the unused OSTs that include the Star Fox SNES, Mario Paint, Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, and EarthBound soundfonts. "Star" is definitely my favorite unused track. I'd also recommend this vid, great analysis

BUMP Oooh this looks like my kinda place Don't have the time to post a giant analysis so far, but I got some little tidbits on modal structure and leitmotif continuity in the Star Fox OSTs from 1993 to 2016, maybe I'll write it down sometime

Hey y'all Yeah I'm a newbie here, and since I've seen a lot of great feedback on other people's remixes and whatnot, thought I'd try my hand at it too. So below is a work-in-progress link to a vid with me singing some lyrics of "Dies Irae" (I can do a little bit of basso profundo) to an epic orchestral take of Sector X from one of my favorite games ever. Since it's not finished yet, the mixing is still a bit off and I need to autotune my pitches a bit on some spots... and the ending's not exactly done yet, but it's getting there!
