  1. No worries! Looking forward, if you do decide to enter. Rule 2 was came after researching past rounds, and noticing a correlation to it all.
  2. Also you've forgotten to change the name from the last source. It's not Undefeated Heat anymore, it's Suburbs. Just thought i'd point that out.
  3. It doesn't have to be strictly electronic. It can be any style really. Looking forward to a wide variety of compositions.
  4. It has a chord progression and a kind of simplistic free-flowing melody, i don't see why you can't do an orchestration on it? It would be fun.
  5. It's actually 150bpm. It's still pretty upbeat though.
  6. It very much feels like 80's music, so i suppose you could lean into that. But it's up to you if you wish to enter. Glad to see your still doing ok!
  7. That’s ok, everyone needs a break every now and again, and I wish you well. However I still stand by my point, in that you remix super well, but learning is good, and I’ve learnt a lot over the years. Anyways all the best.
  8. 118 points!? Dam someone really loved me lol. I think you mean 18 points.
  9. Ack, this is a lovely source, but i'm no good with orchestral music. Might have to do a 180 with the direction. This should be interesting.
  10. Honestly though, you are far from a bad remixer, you've made some really amazing stuff, so much so, it was enough for you to win the round. And honestly, i don't consider any of your melodies/harmonies to sound bad or poor (I've made compliments to your melodic work, in a lot of other remixes). If anything, i sometimes do things that not many people might be into, but i take everything (Comments wise) with a grain of salt, and everyone should remember/consider that. None of the critiques people give, is meant to be taken seriously. It's mostly guidelines/guidance to improve, based on our own observations, and i've always done that. I learn a lot, but i also try and balance that out, with what i could try, new ideas, risks, experiments etc. And really that's the foundation of everything. I'm no expert, but i at least try to be honest. Still though, it's not up to me, it's up to you, and If you feel this is the best option, then i wish you the best of luck, and i welcome your return.
  11. You know listening back, it actually works haha. You only need to change the drums, everything else stays ?
  12. MnP isn't really about 1-1. It's about respecting the original intent of the source. It's outlined by number 2 in the guidelines. If you're gonna do a genre change, at least make sure the original aspect of the source is not lost. This really is the key, into ensuring creative freedom. Do whatever the hell you want, as long as the original aspect of the source is not lost basically lol. This includes Trancifying the source.
  13. Cut Your Way sounds like G minor to me. The second half of the source modulates between Gb Flat and Bb Flat, before jumping up to a C Augmented chord, then back to G (I reposted this from the Golden Sun thread, just because it's essentially the same thing).
  14. We seemed to be on a 30 second kick these past few weeks lol.
  15. Cut Your Way sounds like G minor to me. The second half of the source modulates between Gb Flat and Bb Flat, before jumping up to a C Augmented chord, then back to G.
  16. Listening to the tune, it sounds like E minor to me. I hear an E Minor and F Major chord progression throughout. The main melody starts with a B as the tonic note, which is the 2nd note in the E minor chord. Just my 2 cents.
