  1. I've noticed on ThaSauce it says Smooth Herbert lol Your not doing a Family Guy Parody are you?
  2. I was just about to mention that lol I have my entry rearing to go.... Guess i'll have to wait...
  3. If it sounds to me like it's unusable, then either donate to some friend who is a musician and does have the space, or just get rid of it. Of course it's playable, what i mean it's unusable in the context of recorded music. As a standard kit though, i'm sure it works. Depends how much you will get from it. If you get a lot of money from it, then that could be towards a new drum set. I don't know, i think it can be used, it's just as you described it, in the way, and only used as a live kit.
  4. So i could search for a video game track, that might have happened to have a request in the forum?
  5. Right, here we go! Sorry it took so long, i had to find the right source, to make a MIDI out of, plus as well i had stuff on in real life. But in the end i made it. Not an easy source. Harder than i initially thought, but it's here nonetheless. Enjoy folks! Hopefully theres still time to get remixes in. https://www.vgmusic.com/file/78360b5225b64c1b297b99601ba0c619.html#disqus_thread
  6. It's not this one is it? https://ocremix.org/community/forum/6-remix-requests/ If it is, then disregard question 2.
  7. I'm just curious, are the source on this list, guidelines or are these the sources we will be using for this round? Also what do you mean by OCremix Request? Is that like a forum or something, where you post your requested sources for people to remix? Lastly, can you make a request forum for a chosen source, or does it have to be what's already there?
  8. Yeah i was only joking lol. Years ago, i used to use a Akai MIDI Keyboard to produce music with, and it was pretty great. I don't have it now, because i left College. Yeah i studied music tech, in college where they used these keyboards.
  9. For a drum set of that magnitude, that seems like a reasonable price. The thing with electronic drum hits, is that it artificially adds the velocities in, compared to acoustic which responds to how hard you hit it. Of course it applies to electronic drums, but it's going to be wired in, if you catch my drift. If your more of a rock person than a electronica person, then i'd suggest keeping your kit. That is, if you don't have any problems, or it's not damaged... Electronic Drum Kits are really good, to input sounds. So you could route...say your "Superior Drummer" into the kit, and then you pretty much have the experience of a live drummer. I suppose it's really just about making things work.
  10. I'm starting to think, Akai isn't really a good make lol.
  11. Just out of interest is this the source? I can't find one that says credits. The closest and most accurate to me, is the options menu. If this is the right source, see you in a couple days.
  12. Out of interest have you considered owning V-Drums? What are they like? Maybe this solves your problem. I’ve seen lots of people talk about it, so I’m interested in your thoughts. I think the Akai pads are mostly for people new to the music buiss... M-Audio is a great make. They do some nice Audio Interfaces.
  13. The man himself heh! I’d be down for that. Sounds great!
  14. Right. So I take it’s not velocity sensitive. Is that the design or a problem?
  15. Ah i see. Do you use sticks or fingers for the pads? Also is the price expensive?
  16. You don’t like it? They sound really good. Like really really...
  17. I guess my point still stands. Give me a few days and it will be up shortly..
  18. Good call Silver. It looked a bit odd... So glad you managed to drop by. I won’t win by default now.
  19. If that’s the case I will do a new one for the midi source. Not saying it’s bad, but in all fairness if people find problems like I do, then it gives me the excuse to do a new one.
  20. I really was out of inspiration lol Oh well I can make a nice stew with the last place wooden spoon haha.
  21. 1. Thanks for clarifying. I’d figured it would be on. 2. I’m not sure exactly what Trism was going for, but i do know the MIDI is nothing like the YouTube video. (I think there is a source mix-up) I’m in the process of making a MIDI for this source, using the video (Not the MIDI). I haven’t done much because I want to make sure it’s the right source.
  22. In fact don't bother. You've given us the wrong midi. The clip is nothing like the MIDI. This is known under the name staff roll.
  23. Yeah i think we need a new midi, i found some problems. The most obvious is the timing, and the lack of a substantial drum track. Don't worry, i'll have it up in a few days.
