  1. Thanks for your feedback. I'm glad you liked it. I'm still finding it difficult to keep a consistent level of dynamics throughout a piece of music, especially one this long. As for the bells, I actually returned at some point to make it more audible, but I might have overdone it a bit.
  2. This is a really great, and very relaxing take on the original! I really like your instrumentation and balance, it feels smooth as butter without getting boring. I only wished the violin solo part was as expressive as the flute and cello. Perhaps you could get someone to play it for you?
  3. Wow, this is really cool! I really like your transitions from one part to another and a lot of your riffs and rhythm work sounds especially great. I agree with Souperion that your brass line around 0:40 sounds a bit muddy. Working with EW myself, I think this a case where you want to use a different sample. Maybe try the Long Marcato or the Accent Legato Slur sample? In comparison, a similar part playing from 7:23 sounds absolutely great! I also noticed you leave the mid range somewhat empty during most of your remix. For that reason, the part starting around 3:40 feels more balanced to me. I think this is an instrumentation thing, more so than an EQ setting. Is this intentional? It does remind me more of the original game music.
  4. Hello! This is my orchestral medley for The Legend of Zelda - Majora's Mask. It contains various themes from the original soundtrack and some short original segments. I hope you enjoy it! Any kind of tips or criticism is welcome. Tools used: Fruity Loops East West Symphonic Orchestra I started writing some parts using a scoring application as well, but I switched pretty quickly for a faster workflow. I plan to update the score later. (Edit: minor update for some balance changes)
