  1. Jesus christ, I can't come up with anything good that's slower than 110bpm. I guess I'll just switch to what I do best.
  2. With this being a very public project, we have a lot of mixers with very different styles and goals in mind, so it IS a collection of individual mixes. They will certainly not flow together very good.
  3. The title needs to be something simple and memorable. Frankly, both of the suggestions so far sound pretty lame. But let's not worry about that now.
  4. If you need a rapper...cough...cough... No rapping, I'm gonna throw in some electric piano/sax solos instead. Maybe for a separate vocal version. Anyway, here's a really early draft http://geckoyamori.savagewar.co.uk/Launch%20Base%20(S3K%20Project).mp3 Gangsta Lead isn't quite there yet.
  5. I'm not sure if it will actually be Hip Hop (Which I'm not very good at, + I never do anything below 105bpm), but the overall feel and atmosphere will be the same.
  6. I don't have my hopes set high for this, I'm with darkeSword. I'm reserving Launch Base though just in case. This could potentially take even longer than the Sonic 2 project.
  7. I need breathing samples. Anyone got those?
  8. Pitch bending in the piano roll only works with native FL instruments. For VSTis you'll have to use the dreaded MIDI pitchwheel of doom.
  9. Just experiment and fool around with the sequencer and you'll get the hang of it after a while. I can reproduce most drumlines with little to no effort.
  10. I'm in need of good ambient sounds, like rain, wind, running water and stuff. I'd prefer ordering a high-quality sample CD to downloading separate sounds.
  11. Overall a pretty good and very solid mix from Mr. Rayza. Great work on the lead as expected from a Rayza mix. My only problem with it is that the bass and kick aren't LOUD enough, as they should be in this type of music.
  12. Enable Smart Disable in the mixer. Also, if you use a lot of reverb, delay and the likes, put them in Send channels and assign several FX channels to the same Send channel.
  13. You could always export the Piano Roll pattern as MIDI data and import it to Reason, if it's worth the trouble.
  14. In the recent FLStudio versions you have to assign MIDI instruments in a different way. You have to right click the patch settings in the MIDI Out channel and choose edit events.
  15. Check out this new free multi-fx plugin. Excellent quality, and low CPU usage. http://www.luxonix.com/home/en/
  16. Probably because Yuzo Koshiro did the SAI soundtrack EDIT: I forgot to comment on the actual track... It's nice, you don't hear too much DnB around here. My only complaint is the bass which needs to be more mean and growling.
