  1. A few dungeons stunk, especially the last two if you can even consider them dungeons. I'm surprised that a game that's been in development for so long by arguably the most skilled developer in the world has a rushed feel towards the end.
  2. I love progressing through the dungeons, but I loath going back to them to look for heart containers, skulltullas and other goodies.
  3. The chanting was in the Fire Temple. It sounds like the music in the newer versions, but the voice sounds more like a Muslim chant rather than a low, growling type of thing. If I remember correctly, a few of the symbols in the Spirit Temple, Gerudo Fortress and on the Mirror Shield were all changed due to similarities to the Muslim crescent moon (or whatever it is).
  4. Did they bleed in the N64 games? The only blood I can recall is Ganon's red blood (gold cart ftw) and some blood stains on some undead monsters.
  5. The WW Redeads were creepier too, especially when you would shoot them with an arrow from a distance.
  6. Bottom works better for me. And nobody knows the answer to my question for Wii Sports?
  7. Are there rewards for Pro status in golf, baseball and tennis for Wii Sports?
  8. Take the batteries out of the controller and leave them out for a good 5 minutes. After you put the batteries back in, start up the Wii by pressing the Power button on the console itself, then hold it's sync button for about 20 seconds. Then press the sync button on the Wiimote and see if that works.
  9. Well, as far as Zelda goes, it definetly could have been better considering it was in development for so long by Nintendo. You can't even explore Zora's River or Snowpeak on foot...wazupwidat?
  10. 230 blocks, or rougly 45MB according to Kwarp's post. I know that doesn't seem like a lot now, but we're only a month into the console's life. That 512MB is going to be eaten up fast if we aren't allowed to use other storage methods.
  11. Boo on Nintendo then...this browser takes up too much space, no matter how much functionality is added to it. For christ sake, just let us use our SD cards and USB hard drives how they're intended. Hackers are going to do it if you don't anyway.
  12. Probably not, since it has to be in your Channels to access it (which would require you to copy it back over to the Wii).
  13. Did they update the browser overnight? Some Youtube videos don't seem to work anymore, and flash sites just seem more buggy in general.
  14. Some nice time killers there. Something else this browser needs is midi support...that can't be too hard to implement, right?
  15. Has anyone figured out how much space Opera takes? The shop channel said something like 300 blocks and I have no idea what that translates to in MB.
  16. You have to go clear bck to the beginning to enter another URL? I'm glad this is a beta...
  17. Opera should be up for everyone now.
  18. I heard it's up in some places, not exactly sure where though. It's definetly not up here in the US yet.
  19. I still don't understand why you hate it so much - it's extremely original, if moderately underused. It's not original by a longshot (pun not intended) - it's a fucking skateboard for crying out loud. Eh, I liked it. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it became nearly useless after the fourth dungeon.
  20. The music is so much better on the second playthrough. At first I really thought it sucked, but some of the tunes are kind of catchy now. The game is so much more difficult when you're actually in danger of dying, too. Here's to the next Zelda having a little difficulty...
  21. Friday? I heard Sunday...though Friday would make an awful lot more sense seeing as Sunday is the 24th.
  22. I'd much rather watch streaming video on my Wii than on my PC to be honest. Other than that, I don't see much reason to browse the net on Wii over PC. Still, I'd like to see improved download speeds at some point. And even if each region shared the same servers, the Shop Channel shouldn't be as slow as it is. There is almost nothing to it's interface.
  23. Actually, a miniscule amount of RAM will affect download speeds, since it affects the speed of everything else in the system (and we all know the Wii isn't built for speed). Also, whatever cache the Wii may have would have to be stored in the RAM since there just isn't a lot of internal storage. That's why I'm worried that when Opera comes out, the system is going to be very slow while browsing due to a lack of (or a very little) cache. I doubt it's busy servers because the speed always seems the same to me no matter what time of day I go to the Shop Channel.
