  1. I'm thinking about buying Emerald to be ready for Diamond/Pearl, and I like the idea of being able to transfer pokemon into the game even though you have to go to the Safari Zone to get em heh. Think it'd be worth it?
  2. Instead of looking at it with a negative side, what if the 3rd parties actually made titles that are pretty successful with the controller? I'm sure there will be! My point was that I think Nintendo will lose some of the third parties this way. Let's say Company A has an idea for a game. Say, a katamari type game. They can't seem to integrate the Wii controller into the game very well. Are they going to put their effort into trying to release it for the Wii when the controller presents a challenge or are they going to go the "safe" way and release it for PS3/360 with improved graphics? Since the PS3 and 360 have similar amounts of power, I'm betting we'll see a lot of cross-platform games for the two, with the Wii developed for exlusively due to it's somewhat limited power and unique controller. Now as anti-Nintendo as I may sound at times, I'd LOVE to play some truly welldone 3rd party Wii titles. I can imagine it breathing fresh air into a lot of genres like 3rd person shooters, flight sims, RTSs, etc. But I'm afraid a lot of 3rd parties won't be willing to take the risk and we'll be left with a lot of excellent 1st party titles for the Wii and a few 3rd party gems here and there. Getting way off topic here, but I guess it can't be helped! Ah ok, I thought you were just assuming every 3rd party game would fail haha But ok, isn't GTA going to be on the Wii? I think I read that somewhere, but if I'm wrong someone correct me. I guess the wiimote could be used as a bat to beat down people. That'd probably be a successful game. I know Jack Thompson would love that But anyway, I even saw the PS3 on TV about the shortages. I guess people are really making this out to be a huge deal Also, is Japan still the only ones being said to be getting a reduced price for the cheaper ps3?
  3. Imagine what people would think if the PS3 revealed their tilt-controller first before Nintendo's. I wonder if people would treat Nintendo the same as they are treating Sony right now. Instead of looking at it with a negative side, what if the 3rd parties actually made titles that are pretty successful with the controller? And what did Kak get banned for? lol
  4. I used to do that, but then I realized it was a pain in the ass each time I wanted to play another game.
  5. I use these for my game cases Wow, you own Sprung? You must REALLY be committed to the DS. (ha ha, j/k) Haha, well back in the day when the DS first came out, there weren't that many great games out Mario was sold out, so I got Sprung... what an experience. lol
  6. I use these for my game cases
  7. Bam I own one; it's wonderful. Soft and fuzzy on the inside, hard and tough on the outside, plus it fits games OR a GBA. Cool, thanks. a pocket. That's what I use now I don't want to risk banging up against a desk at school or something.
  8. Anyone know of a really good DS Lite carrying case?
  9. Good point. I don't see any controllers.
  10. This kiosk is fucking huge.
  11. Damn, you beat me by 2% on the first test I just didn't study as hard as I should have. I made stupid mistakes like thinking 7-(-5)=14 haha. What the fuck was wrong with me? I also left a few questions that were so easy after going over the test the next class. I just totally forgot how to do them. Basically, I suck at test taking.
  12. Definitely get out if you feel like you don't belong. Have you guys had a first test yet in class? You might want to wait until then before you decide upon getting out of it or not. I'm in ma111 too btw heh.
  13. Find gummies and give them to your pokemon it'll increase their IQ and sometimes they learn a new IQ ability, thers abilities that can check for status effects or ammount of PP (actualy I'm sure you already have PP checker or its one of the first abilities you'll get from a gummy). There's many other IQ abitlities too, I've recently gotten one that makes the pokemon dodge more often. Oh, duh. I forgot about PP checker.
  14. The eyeball is for the money shot right? j/k Anyway, I'm still playing some more Mystery Dungeon. I wish they'd program the pokemon to be smarter. If your out of PP, don't try to use that move! If the enemy is already asleep/leech seeded/paralyzed/etc, then don't try that move again! I hope in Diamond/Pearl they adopt the way they did when learning a new move. When you learn a new move, it'll tell you what it does in a description so you know whether or not to ditch it or learn it. Did they do this in Ruby/Saph? I don't remember.
  15. I've read it was really good, but it just looks weird lol.
  16. Trust me, I don't really care for ROMs The last time I played ROMs is when I traded my old video card to my friend for his PSP that had ROMs already on it. I later sold the PSP to another friend heh. Plus, I like collecting.
  17. How can a ROM for a DS game work that has use of the touch screen? Does the mouse just act as the stylus or something?
  18. Don't you wish people would just play their own class and not try to play yours? lol
  19. It's filled with annoying talk, but here it is. Well, I meant like screenshots(rips) or whatever, but ah well
  20. The little menu screens in the beginning of Mystery Dungeon are so cool lol. I like the one of Squirtle finding mail in the mailbox with Pikachu next to him. If anyone can find those on the internets that'd be wonderful.
  21. Own Tempo eh?? Is that a new move?
  22. You knew about quicksave right? And yes, this is hyping me up for Diamond/Pearl.
  23. Mystery Dungeon is pretty fun. I'm only on the 2nd dungeon, but it's pretty fun so far. I like how you can speed up your movement so you won't go crazy if you missed a little area all the way at the other end of the map haha.
  24. So I did some investigating. A while back someone had a problem with plastic being loose by the GBA slot right? And as did I. Well, my black DS Lite has the same problem. Well, it's not a problem because every DS Lite is like that. At work I work in the back, and I send off returns back to the vendor. There were 2 white DS Lites(one was nasty, ick, the kid probably never washed his hands). I checked the plastic above the GBA slot and the plastic was able to be pulled back on both. I think I saw some site listing this as a defect when it's just supposed to be like that. Just felt like throwing that out I think I'll buy Blue Rescue Team tonight since we still haven't gotten any Megaman ZX in.
  25. I just got my mom to play Brain Age She said she liked it heh.
