  1. ATTENTION WII OWNERS

LEARN TO TURN YOUR PERSONAL MII'S TO "DON'T MINGLE." Setting your Mii to "Don't Mingle" does not mean it will not interact with other Mii's in your Wii. I am sure your relatives and friends are all nice people, but I don't need to know who they are. My Parade was filled with 80 Steve's and Kate's. No one CARES about your family Mii's grumble grumble grumble

    QFE

I got all S ranks in Super Excite today. I think I've put more time into Excite Truck than Zelda by now.

    Also enjoying Kid Icarus.

  2. It's very easy to make your own sheet music of the Tetris theme. I'll be brief:

-Go to VGMusic.com and find a midi file of the tetris theme.

-Import the midi file into a sheet music program. "Finale" does it, as well as the music program "Noteworthy Composer" (a free trial exists on their website, buy for $40).

-When imported, the music will be there and technically correct, although not necessarily readable. Adjust your import settings and manually swap around notes as you please. Tetris in particular shouldn't have any issues outside of chords in parts.

  3. The Everybody Votes channel is a brilliant piece of work. It's a free, simple distraction that barely needs any maintenance. At most an employee needs to spend an hour a day reading through questions and translating used ones. The interface is sleek, stylish, and silly, a winning combination in my book. However, the simplicity deceives. Within the channel is an extensive statistics system containing voting percentages pertaining to gender, state, and other even other nations. Very interesting stuff.

  4. March? Absolutely not.

Smash Brawl is an online title

The first online titles will be announced in Quarter 2

    March is in Quarter 1

    END RUMOR

If I were Nintendo, when would I release this game? It depends what I'm doing with the game. Am I revamping the control scheme? I have promised some surprises in the game. Do I want to launch online with this title as one of the first, or have other games test the water and slam in with a quality service? Holiday 2007 seems favorable. Yes.

  5. Thats true, but i cant put down Kirby SS and im finding myslef only playin about 2 levels of Yoshi DS.

EDIT: actually i take that back about the controls feeling cheap, they're just didnt feel as nice as Yoshis Island

I loved the original yoshis island(who didn't?), but so far im not a big fan of the DS rendition. The controls feel kinda cheap, the music is absolute cheddar and the sound effects just annoy the shit outta me(HURGHMMMMMMMMMMM!!!).Also i find its generally too slow paced.

But then again im just basing this all off first impressions(haven't even finished the first world)

I felt the same way about Yoshi's Island. It doesn't get better.

  6. Microsoft actually bought up those exclusives. Sony never had to pay for their keep.
I couldn't believe my eyes that people are still lining up for wii's...
    11.gif
I don't believe that over 100 of those people are so stupid that they think an individual Toys R Us store is going to get any more than 20 or 30 units per shipment.
Then I have nothing to say except you TRULY underestimate the stupidity of an average American.

Feb 11 was a big day for Wii.
    :D

  7. I generally like Sonic games, particularly 2, 3&Knuckles, 3D Blast, Adventure, Heroes, and Rush. I've backed away from Shadow, Riders, and HD more for the reason that I don't like they company's direction rather than the games themselves. Sonic Adventure hasn't aged well, so I see little hope in future 3D Sonics with the same mechanics.

SatSR has me intrigued. SEGA finally has a novel idea down that seems as simplistic as the Genesis titles. I'm purchasing this title day one without question.

  8. Yeah, even with Nintendo milking successful hardware for as long as possible, I don't see that happening. Unless there is a sudden, exponential increase in manufacturing in the next couple of years.

    fixed

    extra letters

  9. No love for laser guns and spaceships?

I think people like Grammar Ninja for how unique it is. No one's complained about the user interface or programming, so I figure that stuff is pretty good too.

I've gotten a lot of emails from people asking to put Grammar Ninja on their own sites (I always say yes). I feel accomplished. :3

  10. It's been up there for a few days now.

The reviews are starting to contradict each other concerning grammar errors. I can't seem to satisfy everyone. ;[

That said the numbers currently stand at

    3.80/5.00

    Ranked # 7,434 for Score

    Ranked # 7,499 for Popularity

    Daily 2nd Place 1/28/2007

Grammar Ninja is more popular than Star Blaster ever was. I'm quite baffled.

  11. So, I got some more S ranks in EBA, and so far I'm up to Five Star Commander in the ranks. I'm wondering what's the highest, and not even GameFAQs lists all of them yet.

My cousin got there I think. Hey says it's

    Love Machine

    I may be mistaken though.

  12. Submitted the game on Newgrounds today where it received a Daily 2nd Award with a 3.8 score (link). Oddly the Daily 1st currently scores a 3.79.

    Interesting review responses:

    Full of errors

From the intro: "Grammar Ninja" is all one noun. "Grammar" is NOT an adjective.

In "Last night, the moon shined brightly over the homes in my neighborhood," "shined" is when you shined your shoes or shined a flashlight. But after you shined them, the shoes _shone_, just like the moon _shone_. (You have the wrong verb form)

In "The battleships raced over the sea like a group of hunting sharks in search of their prey," "their" is NOT a pronoun; it is an adjective. There is no pronoun in the sentence.

In "She came to our baseball game and cheered for our team; however, they still lost to our rivals," you've misused the semicolon. A semicolon should only be used to separate two sentence clauses where the second clause is a clarification or elaboration of the first; the second clause should not be used to make a new or contrasting statement.

In "One slice of pecan pie fills me up," there is one adjective, not 2. Pecan is not an adjective (look it up). It is part of the noun "pecan pie" (look up "pecan pie").

You make the same mistake in "I eat peanut butter and jelly everyday"; "peanut" is not an adjective. It is part of the noun "peanut butter." Also, "everyday" is used as an adverb here but it is not an adverb; it is an adjective. You should use "every day" instead of "everyday."

In "Sonia or Karen will babysit their sister after school today," "today" is not an adverb. It is a noun that forms part of an adverbial clause.

I see are a few other errors as I'm replaying this, but you get the picture. I wouldn't ordinarily nitpick like this, but it is after all a grammar game.

Why can't I get feedback like this from the beginning? ;[ *pouts*
