    i remember recording the bassline for my song in the library at my alma mater (it was on an old oxygen 32 midi controller) during the beginning of my sophomore year. damn, that was forever ago.

    i intend to type this just as anything else that i type - no caps. i just turned off the grammar/spell check in word, and intended to turn it back on before i finished...yeah that didn't happen. you caught all of those right. this is what i get for 'printing' the file really late at night =) thanks for reading, man. i'll go back and check this up before i move on.

    pdf file. current revision: section 2 done, i skipped 1 for the moment. i'm going to do that last, probably. the link's in the first post as well. edit: already found a mistake in TDP - it's not the max power it'd draw, it's the max heat that needs to be moved out. whoops! oh well, i'll fix it with the next update.

    correct: midi is only instructions for your soundcard (similar to those old pianos that could play themselves), whereas a vst is outputting real sound. you can't have both in the same file because they're two different formats. if you exported to an mp3 or wave file, you'd be able to listen to both things at the same time.

    i heard it was related to the massive amounts of textures the game attempts to display at any one time. my computer is ridiculously powerful when it comes to stuff like that - i could run two full instances of oblivion on max settings - but i still had framerate slowdown occasionally.

    that's what i'm thinking, myself. i'm sure that we could pull off an ocr clan since there's bound to be a billion people getting into this when it comes out (should be right around the time that WotLK is worn out enough for wow people to find something else).

    ubi's made some questionable decisions regarding games in the last few years...i'd just stop buying their games, but ocr's PriZm works there - gotta support a guy i did like five songs with.

    so, has anyone seen some of the info about this? it's looking amazing. there's a good chance that i'll get in on it if i can. i've played every star wars game ever written, read over a hundred books on star wars...i'm a serious nerd. haven't been into it as much in the last few years as when New Jedi Order first came out, but still. so, what's your thoughts?

    nintendo's gross is how much this year? no, i hear what both of your are saying. i like it when games stick to the same old style - like fable or gears of war, for example - but i also like it when they try new things (even when they bomb).
