QFE. my question is, was Eidos pumping the same advertising dollars into the webpages that gave them the fake five stars in that review?

my big issue is that i need 500 gigs, and the stuff at radioshack is 80$ more expensive than newegg for the same thing. i might just go for newegg anyways, i've really liked their prices on oem barracudas and caviars...120$ or so total.

i've got a 75$ gift card for a mall in my area, and the only computer-related store in the mall is Radio Shack. Radio Shack only sells external drives in store, therefore if i want an internal drive i've gotta buy an external drive and convert it into an internal one. that said, is this a possiblity? there isn't much on the net to tell me yea or nay. that said, could i put a different hard drive (which i already own) in said case, once i took out the other one?

i think fishy's on it, so we should be fine. worse comes to worse, i can get taucer to record them, but fishy's already got an idea for what's going on in the last half of the piece so we should be fine.

oh, i know that. but when a game company makes a game that isn't that good, they shouldn't pump hundreds of thousands of dollars into advertising it, and then pull out when someone points out what they already knew. they should have the good grace to say, hey, this sucks, lets just try and move on. were they pumping advertising money into the other companies that gave it 50-70%? did they take them out, as well? that'd be worth knowing.

fuck you. i paid 15$ a night to sleep underneath a fucking chair. the damn floor never got vacuumed, either, every morning i woke up with crumbs from the night's festivities all over my hoodie. the best part was definitely that my alarm on my phone woke up darangen and taucer and not me almost every day. probably because i went to sleep at 4ish, and tried to wake up for the 8am sessions EVERY DAY. ToN, you can totally hack a section of the floor from someone for free. that's what i was going to do last year, until i walked into richter's room to see him ralphing his guts into the toilet, while every free, flat space in the room (including someone's back while they were passed out) was covered in mostly empty beer containers of various origin. it was a friggin liquor store in there, i've never seen anything like it. i slept in taucer's room from then on. the alcohol didn't bother me, but there wasn't any actual floor space to sleep on. even the tub was full.

got an acapella arrangement of 'away in a manger' done, too. write that one down.

no one's given me files. and fishy still owes me guitars. unless you want to record them. rk's stuff is coming. dont forget that finals are coming up for college. if it's not in by christmas, though, it's out. that'll give you enough time to refuddle the website, and for us to still distribute all the files to the mirrors. mine'll be done. i'll find a guitarist, somewhere, if fishy falls through.

thanks man. i'll fool with quantization a little but, but the dynamics are really giving me trouble. i don't know whether it's the velocities or just the overall feel, i just can't seem to get it to feel right.

i lolled. no, really, i think zircon points out a good reason as to why he got fired. eidos pulled out the cash, which was a major thing for gamespot. i can understand that they canned him for basically losing so much money, but at the same time, what did they expect? did gamespot look at the game before it accepted the monies for their site? or did they blindly accept the piece without realizing that they were pimping a terrible game? i know that money's money, but still... it's a review, it's not the words of jesus. get a grip.

=) jazz organ = b3. this organ = the jeux soundfont, one of the most famous organ soundfonts on the web, and imo one of the best. note that the strings come back, too. i think i'm going to do some different stuff with the organ at the end, however, regarding usage - i'm going to have it lower in the texture and let the strings take over.

mega edit update thing: song available here. the original decision is available here. super updates. orchestra added using edirol orchestral. i have most of the vienna symphonic library, but i can't seem to make it work with gigastudio rewired into FL. i can only get one channel no matter how much i fool with it. so, thoughts? EDIT - something else i should mention is that the piano line in the beginning is a reference to another song and thus can't really be changed either.

no, i mean i should make a record of my rejections and sell it, it'd get good monies. boss battle = you vs. me on some song from the OST i reworked that other thing, anyways, so that one's gonna pass soon.
