abadoss sent me a wip update for Frozen Flame. looks like he's back on the project, since his wip is almost a completed song right now, really. he should be posting it on the forum later tonight, hopefully.

if i get nightfall, i'm making a paragon. they're awesome.

hell, if you finish it, it'll probably get on as long as its a decent mix. you could pm me too, i'm actually at a computer once and a while during the week as opposed to TD.

hallucid's been finished, i think. there's a really quiet four-note chord thing going on in the background the whole song, and i based the trance/techno version i did on that. in light of that, i'll be cutting the songs that don't really have anything other than drums - simply because i'm a melodic composer and as a result have a lot of trouble remixing a song that doesn't actually have a melody, a bassline...chords of any kind...you get the picture. i'll have some updates next week at some point. EDIT - also, since my favorite tune on the soundtrack (Sappy) has a decidedly poor song paired with it, i think i'll be doing a vocal arrangement of just that song as well. i'm still not sure if that wip will leave wip stages - i just don't think it's jiving really well with my general idea of a decent mix of any sort. in other words, i don't like it.

zooming car's basically done too. i'm now searching for a track to collab with fishy on, and one to collab with ross kmet on.

leveled my monk up several levels tonight, i'm at 10.5 or so now. so now i just need to do some coop missions and i'll get it high enough that i can afford getting a powerleveler the rest of the way. i'm broke, you see, from my monk getting elite armor/black dye/having to buy 35 deldrimor steel ingots. total caost me almost a hundred plat.

i'm on now, for a few hours. anyone interested?

i'll be on once in a while over the next couple of days doing random missions - i've got about thirty missions in my quest log that need doing, even if i dont need the exp. figure its fun to crush all those guys that gave me problems at lower levels.

sounds like how you beat glint for the bonus.

you know, we SHOULD all play together. it doesn't have to be an ocr-based guild, we could just make it musical gamers in general (aka vgmix, 1up, etc). at the very least, we should look each other up on occasion.

the part i loved was farming for LP in the desert. i used to just groove around there for hours slamming those yensa into the dirt. i think i got a chain of about seven hundred or so before i mistakenly attacked one of the pumpkinheads.

you ARE a style whore. i'm just broke cause i basically built a guild and pimped it out, then sold it...halfway. she still owes me like 100k. once i get that i'll have a little more money in my pocket. i'm gonna start farming for cash now so i can get out of the doldrums and get a set of 15k. anyone want to help get me there?

its a matter of me having way too much music on my plate to begin with, not a lack of commitment or time. the tetrisphere thing, plus other music for projects, is certainly taking up most of my time.

i've been putting a lot of time into my whammo lately, and i'm finding that (as a hammer/sponge tank) i just use the same 10-15 skills...most of which i learned way early on. go figure. i think that as a whole, though, i love playing as my warrior because of the survivability factor. the hardest thing with my ele is that i just can't solo/solohench very well, and it gets so annoying constantly having to run away if my party gets wiped while i'm working in, say, the RoF or the Southern Shiverpeaks.

i did like the complete customization of the game. i tend to prefer characters that can just do whatever i feel like letting them do rather than having them focus on something specifically. i only wish that the characters could 'focus' on certain abilities - like, i wish that as you used a certain style more over time you'd become more proficient at the inherent abilities of that type...aka, as Basch hammers the crap out of enemies, his physical attributes go up. however, if i want basch to be a time mage, as i use more time magic his magic and mp skills go up in that way.

the story was too short, but it was pretty good. i'd put it on the level of six and ten, which IMO are some of the best. nothing's topped eight, though, whether its through storyline or through gameplay. if you didn't game the game, it was fantastic.

not use capslock =) i love how it just capitalizes everything now. write your drum part, give it to me, and i use addictive drums on it to make it awesome.
