We didn't do anything to Snappleman. He didn't turn anything in, dropped out of contact and seemingly expressed being no longer interested in helping out. Very unfortunate, but we can't wait around for something that's not gonna happen.

I liked Lyn, but I'm totally cool with her being an assist trophy.
I'm cool with this. I hope we see a few more Fire Emblem assist trophies as there are some sweet characters from that franchise.
Yeah, this ain't bad. It's kind of a compromise in a way. I mean, I don't think they want to have twenty sword-wielding playables, but this way some of the recent FE main characters (and others?) still get to make an appearance.

after a long time here in OCR i've been waiting for someone to create an artists thread.
There have been about six attempts in the past. Usually degrades into people just slapping up their images hoping for feedback and not saying anything about the previous posters' stuff.

So, genre debating aside, I just wanted to say that even though I haven't seen much of the game so far, the environments are pretty pretty if you take the time to look at 'em. There are some really funky patterns and textures on the walls and the like. Kinda makes me think of old middle-eastern tilework/patterns.

The Diamond/Pearl Championship battle would be a nice inclusion... obviously so would be a lot of stuff, but yeah. YEE.

Is his life so devoid of purpose that he'd spend his waking hours bragging about non-existant talents to a bunch of strangers, using works of other people, who had the talent and spent the time to make, calling them his own?
Unfortunately, there are a lot of idiots like that out there. I've had people take my drawings and post them elsewhere as their own, going so far as to make up little stories about how/when/why they drew them. Why these people try to enjoy pride and praise in something they had no hand in creating is beyond me.

So, I'm wondering... Sakurai says they'll share the same damage (which is good; they could be seriously broken otherwise), but that the Pokemon have another "stat" named "stamina"... is he just talking about how well they can take a hit, or might there be something else we're missing here. This could be a reference to how long you can have a particular Pokemon in battle before having to switch... but that's just my guess.

If you keep fighting with the same Pokémon, or if you change them out too often, it’s not so good for the Pokémon. -

I'm really doubting playable characters would show up in other characters' final smashes. This for the same reason I really doubt playable characters would show up in stage backgrounds (Nook in Smashville => Nook's not playable). Unless someone can dig up a situation of which I'm not aware in which a playable Smasha has some other in-match appearance? Really, I'd like to know if there is such an instance, cause I can't think of one.
Aside from Captain Falcon being run over his own car, and that's kinda stretching it...
I'm pretty sure you can't pull of Fox/Falco's alternate taunt if both are on the field, too.

So much for the idea of Luna taking her father's place as editor and then dueling Rita Seeker to the death on a crumbling bridge over rushing water.
Still, it fits. =P
Despite a couple of tiny nitpicks, I enjoyed the book overall. I was a little worried that Rowling would have build up this massive thing and left herself with nowhere to go, but it looks like she really did have it all planned out from the start, and it resolved better than I'd hoped for.

The production's definitely nice, it all flows pretty well and the oil-and-water line was a great touch. It's easily competent work (especially nice to have a track like this that actually has the sound and tone for rap, which isn't something anyone can do), but I dunno, it didn't really reach out and grab my attention. Not bad, though.
