Whoops, RED is 74.91.113.40:27015 Anyway, the return of a decent second server also means the return of the events server, if we so choose. Any particular things people want to try out?

BLU and RED have now been moved over to the new server. They're available on blu.ocrtf2.com:27015 / 74.91.113.17:27015 and red.ocrtf2.com:27015 / 74.91.113.17:27015. The old BLU will remain up until the end of the month, but closed and with the new server address in it. The old RED will remain up indefinitely pointing to the new RED address. Both servers have had their TF2 server IDs transferred to the new systems. The new servers should now be participating in HLStatsX CE and SourceBans.

A | character snuck into the server address when I put it in. This keyboard is annoying and has it next to shift instead of above enter where it's supposed to be.

Good afternoon everyone. It's time to play another round of Test That Server! Today's server is at 74.91.113.17:27015 (soon to be test.ocrtf2.com:27015) which I set up earlier today. If this server does well, we will be moving BLU to 74.91.113.17 and RED to 74.91.113.40 (located on the same server). While this server is not strictly a dedicated server, we have two cores for our exclusive use, and I am hosting nothing but the two TF2 servers from this service. Oh, and we gain the working auto-updater that our old system had. \o/ I finally figured out what I was doing wrong with Replay FTP offloading and Replay will soon be available across all servers, old *and* new. Additionally, I hope to upgrade both SourceBans and HLStatsX to their recently released new versions this weekend. Also, updated pl_swiftwater to final_rc.

Depends on the computer and how high your graphics quality is set. Plus, alt-tab is almost instantaneous for me now. Updating BLU shortly. BLU Updated. Edit: btw, since I forgot to mention it, expect to see yet another server trial host soon, likely set up to host both servers. This isn't strictly a dedicated server, but it DOES come highly recommended (NFOServers).

This happened a few hours ago, but between class and blizzard conditions outside, it took me a while to get back home. BLU is now updated and restarted.

You think that's bad, if you click on Specials, it only has 3 items listed. I've never seen it that low. Oh, and one of those is today's Daily Deal (Silent Hill: Homecoming).

According to their sales page, this sale only goes through the 27th, which is today. Whether or not they have a Cyber Monday sale. *shrug*

Don't try crafting it yet, though, as they aren't craftable immediately. For instance, the Saints Row 3 things just became craftable today.

I noticed that the Spy animations file updated with this update. I assume the Sharp Dresser has new animations to it, despite acting identically to the Knife. Then again, I have a Strange Knife, so it doesn't exactly do a lot for me.

Mandatory TF2 Update has now hit. See below for update notes. BLU's updater is running (but just sitting there at this time). RED will restart once its auto-update is complete. Also, today is the start of the [thread=37729]Steam Autumn Sale[/thread]. Portal 2 is $10.19 today only, btw.

Yes, Valve always pushes out updates on days I'm away from a computer I can update BLU from. Watch, there will be another update tomorrow. Incidentally, RED being on a server I own auto-updates. I'm going to be looking into renting a VPS/VDS from a host soon so I can run servers as needed. Incidentally, it shouldn't have taken them this long to fix PL_Barnblitz, as the bug in BLU Spawn #2's doors was known within days of its release. Edit: I launched the updater on BLU, no clue how long it'll take. RED should be updated already. Edit 2: BLU should be updated and back online now.

I don't think I have the tourney configs around any more... of course, I only seem to have the one decent server any more, as the RED server (the box where I can add more servers whenever I want) seems to have lag problems as of late. In other news, Valve is soliciting "Holiday that rhymes with Smissmas" items for their contribute site.

I know my normal crew is playing on the Empire side. I'm probably going to Imperial Operative, but I'll have to discuss it with them. I think we're not going to be happy about the 4-person team limit, though... We're also ticked because I can't reserve my spot on our guild roster.
