This video was super fun for me, because I got to collaborate with Peter of Soundole VGM Covers. When I first presented him with the various songs I had been thinking of covering, he mentioned making Forest Interlude funky, using some fun patches for his EWI, and the idea stuck. I really to take the groove of the original, and make it more upbeat. Lots of fun syncopation and a beat that gets more spastic as the song goes on. Getting to collaborate was really refreshing. Check it out, and if you want to make some music together, let me know! http://youtu.be/IpXM72dvLmU

https://soundcloud.com/soulcinema-raadude/legend-of-zelda_majoras-mask_stone-tower-days-as-told-by-ben So, It has been 3 months since I have submitted this remix to OCRemix and as I promised, here is a link to the mix. This mix I made long ago for the 25 anniversary of Legend of Zelda. I have been updating it and getting it ready to post to the site. Now that I had the tech to fix some things. If you haven't noticed there are two influences behind this idea. First was the Majora's Mask 's Stone Towers. Majora's Mask was already a spooky game. Just about every area you went to had a dead guy waiting for you. They helped you out in some way though. So somehow we all got used to the idea that getting possessed by a plant, rock or fish was okay. The Ikana Canyon was different though. Everything dead was waiting for you to join their ranks and if there was any help, it took a lot of convincing. With a sword and ocarina. So I was listening to this track a lot as I climbed this tower in my youth and its ambiance of the tortured undead. It was unsettling, but very enjoyable. I lived for that unnerving place. As luck would have it, In later years, I would be frightened by my next influence. It was already creepy without really being haunted, but Creepy Pasta would not take it as is. I was introduced to the site and was infatuated with tales of Slenderman and the like. Then I read a story titled BEN. It was wondefully scary me that a game could be haunted and could mess with you in real life, especially my Zelda. I do realize it was the Song of Healing the was played backwards on the story page if you caught that. There may be a 2.0 released in later days that will showcase a reverse SOH. Please enjoy!

I made this for my high school talent show for senior year before I graduated. I basically performed it (partially) live while I recorded it through my audio interface. I say partially because I didn't have many options as a controller, so I controlled a majority of the automation/SFX and some levels. Basically I controlled a good portion of stuff as a partially-made track played underneath it! It's, as the name suggests, my second general Zelda remix I've done. I could have done a better job of mixing and EQ-ing some stuff, but I think I did a good job on it overall! https://soundcloud.com/nokbient/legend-of-zelda-remix-ii

Hello again! VIDEO HERE: http://youtu.be/1JLQ5kjQGmM I wanted to keep the melody and chord structure the same, but move a lot of the arpeggiated piano to more glitchy, sporadic synths. And then keep the chords in more lush, ambient pads. I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think! I know this is a favorite song of many, so hopefully my deviations won't disappoint the die-hard fans.

this one will be remastered in the future because my old headphones broke and had to use some really cheap ones. but i havent put anything out in several months so i decided to upload it. as far as composition tho its complete in my book. never heard this tune in a drum n bass style so i thought it would be quite interesting. https://soundcloud.com/djsatsui123/streets-of-rage-attack-the-barbarian-drum-n-bass-remix
