Dylan Wiest (Wiesty) and I collabed for this track like a year ago and I never mastered it. Now I mastered it and thought I'd throw it up here. Unfortunately the project files are trashed so I can't make any changes. Feel free to throw out critiques, but I can't actually make changes. Yes. The whole thing is the title, lol. It's actually part of a trilogy of songs - a suite of sorts called "City of Love" centered around living in my home city of San Francisco. This is the 2nd part. I think this is one of the best songs I've written all year. While still being new wave-y, I also experimented with island rhythms. I think the sound comes from the saturated analog mix and the reverby/delay-y-ness of the mix and vocals. I know it's not proper mixing, but it works for this song, and I'm not changing it. I decided to do a jazzy sort of cover for Great Fairy Fountain. There are only three textures, but with two improvised lines I'm not sure if it seems a little fuzzy or not. What do you guys think?

https://soundcloud.com/electricmudkip/pokemon-rse-ending-theme-remix Hey OCR! First-timer here on the forums. As a bit of background, I've been remixing for three years, and I like Pokemon a lot. I also mostly only focus on electronic genres. My main reason behind posting today is to ask a question that I've been wondering about for a while now: Is this structure of remix too liberal for OCR standards? I know most of my work probably is, and I already regret rashly deciding to send off a different remix to be judged for this very reason alone (whoops), but this is probably one of my more source-heavy tracks in a sense so as to know if this is more acceptable or not would be very much appreciated. Of course, if anyone has any extra criticisms, I'd love to hear them--I'm still very much an amateur when it comes to music, and I know I make a lot of dumb mistakes, haha. Thanks in advance!

This is my version of one of my favorite battle themes of all time for the Final Fantasy Series. Hope you like it.

I'm putting up a mix I did for this theme many years ago just for fun. I've been told it has a bit if a darker feel to it for like an infiltration scene / fight. Hope you like it. Cheers!

finished Final Fantasy 6 (SNES) - Magic House Remix
Kamasenin posted a topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Here's my remix of Magic House for FF6 (FF3 on SNES). I start the track off with a little traveling music as the heroes explore the house. Then, the theme comes alive as they're attacked from all sides. Lastly, the piece finishes as the heroes approaching Relm painting the boss before it comes alive to attack them. Hope you like it. An older mix of mine from 2010. It was a really fun song to arrange, and I really want to update but it's finished because I don't have any of the source files anymore, sadly. https://soundcloud.com/vanityangelfixx/speed-highway-at-dawn-paradise-mix

I'm not really sure what genre this would be... I got inspired by Latin jazz, samba and old school 80s electro. I pretty much sang the entire song in falsetto. I sound like a woman anyway, more so here, lol. https://soundcloud.com/vanityangelfixx/love-in-this-life

Earlier this summer I released this 5-track techy, glitchy, electronic EP called spherical structures, with a thematic setting somewhere around the world introduced in William Gibson’s Neuromancer. The EP is free to download through Bandcamp, just hit 0 as the price and you’re good to go. Oh, and I also made a bit epileptic video for the first track as well. Enjoy!

I thought about posting in the Help/Newbies thread, but this isn't exactly a how-to or anything. It IS made almost entirely with the FL 11 default synth GMS (except for the strings, drums, and choir pad). Seriously, this synth is so versatile and awesome for a default, I've been playing with it ever since I discovered it by poking around the demo project by The Flashbulb. I'd always thought I'd need to buy some high end shit to make something really cool as far as EDM goes, so I thought I'd share this in case anyone else held the same misconception If you have FL 11, it's free! If you're an FL user and don't have 11, the upgrade is free, and then you'll have it! If you're not an FL user, I can't help you </3 GMS!! I hope this is helpful. If you have any questions, let me know!
