Chrono Trigger 'Town Life in Piano' If there is one thing I really like, its when somebody plays a piano solo, they really know how to put a lot of feeling in it, and they know how to keep it sounding timed right. It's nothing like a 4 on the floor techno beat where the timing is always perfect, because it sounds more like the song has a natural flow to it. Also, I feel that the female human voice and the piano are probably the top two most amazing sounding instruments on the planet. Now, this piece lacks the female voice, so it has the next best thing. And when it is played as beautifully as it is here, it is truly something to admire. This is one hell of a beautiful, ear pleasing piece of work, kLuTz, don't stop now.

Chrono Cross 'Time's New Scar' That's right folks - A piano piece played live by an individual. A talented one for that matter ^^ There are only a few (most not even noticeable) problems due to the fact that it was played live. Definitely recommended to anyone a fan of piano pieces, and definitely those fans of the Chrono series in general.

OCR00811 - Final Fantasy VII "A World of Piano"
Disco Dan posted a topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
Final Fantasy VII 'A World of Piano' Ok. Honestly, this one didn't impress me. Yes, it's done on the piano. Yes it was played live (most likely anyway). But I honestly didn't think it was out of the ordinary for a piano arrangement. The melody was pretty much standard with a little bit of variety near the end, and the accompaniament was pretty standard arpeggiated 5ths. I suppose with time we'll see more variety and versatility from Mr. Klutz, but for a first or second attempt, it's not bad. The dynamics and technique are good. DC -
OCR00800 - Chrono Trigger "The Trial in Concert"

Chrono Trigger 'The Trial in Concert' I am honored to start off the review thread for this remix. Simply put, it is AMAZING. The only disadvantage to it showing up on Overclocked is that it's been around on other sites for a while, and the bitrate had to drop in order to get it under the filesize limit here. But if you download one CT remix from this entire site, let this one be it! -
Final Fantasy VI 'Phantom Midnight' I personally really liked this piece. The arrangement is straightforward, yes, but it's strength lies more in the emotion it lends the song rather than in showing it in a new light. Not the greatest FF mix here, but worth a download unless you have something against the game.

Final Fantasy IV 'Tale in Piano' This mix is the ever popular FF Main Theme (known as the Prologue back in my day! .) This particular arrangement is very well done, and sounds very full for a piano piece. Notable because of it's expressiveness and emotion - it almost brought a tear to my eye. Very artfully done.

OCR00425 - Seiken Densetsu 3 "Angels on the Shore"

Seiken Densetsu 3 'Angels on the Shore' This is a very sweet moving melody, nice soft ambiance, and a lovely wind instrument. This one really makes me wish I could play the game because the way it sounds, there must be a deep story line behind this somewhere. If you like slow melodies then this one is probably for you, a good break from the fast paced electronic stuff. Thank you for this Ailsean.
