Sole Signal
this is correct. there is no way/point to go from the early 360s to an HDMI without an expensive converter. composite and component are analog cables, hdmi is (in the name!) digital. you'd need something to convert the signals, but there's no gain in visual quality. Right. I guess what I should have said is that I just need the audio dongle: http://www.amazon.com/Hdmi-Cable-Adapter-Xbox-360/dp/B001S5CCF2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1259689135&sr=8-2 Do you have this? Meteo Xavier
Ok, so my EW Bundle today came with an extra copy of EWQLSO Silver for some reason. Tweek suggested I sell it, but how would I go about doing that for this kind of software (without the dongle, as I need it)?
avaris
Ok, so my EW Bundle today came with an extra copy of EWQLSO Silver for some reason. Tweek suggested I sell it, but how would I go about doing that for this kind of software (without the dongle, as I need it)? Someone can purchase another dongle separately for the EWQLSO Silver. Meteo Xavier
So I just put the disk on sale here and say (does not come with dongle) and supply a link? Is that it?
prophetik music
sure. how much is the dongle, anyways?
Meteo Xavier
Cost me $40. I was thinking of selling it for $100 or $110 as is. I need to make sure they actually gave me that copy though, I didn't actually see the disk yet. EDIT: What the fuck... its a GOLD/SILVER installer? What the hell kind of sense does that make? The first two disks install GOLD/SILVER, then the last three finish GOLD? What the hell kind of purpose does that serve when they give me two authorization codes? Can I still sell it that way? Kanthos
Could it be that the Gold/Silver installer is used for the VST and the samples that are common to both, and the Gold-only part adds all the extra?
Meteo Xavier
Yeah I think that's what it is, I'm just wondering how I'm going to be able to sell it from there. I don't want to have to buy another one in the event something happens and I need to re-install it.
prophetik music
maybe that's why they sent it.
Meteo Xavier
Do you suppose it would work to install the discs onto a seperate hard drive in addition to this one and sell the discs from there? Its not like a problem or anything, It just drives me nuts when companies do very pointless and weird gestures like this.
prophetik music
it's so that they don't have to make seven or eight CDs or DVDs when five will do. if you installed them elsewhere, you'd likely not get the registry data backed up as well (which is the important part). maybe you should just keep them rather than selling them as soon as you bought it. Meteo Xavier
That's what I was afraid of (haven't even installed the damn thing and EW's trying to screw me. ) I'll just keep it as is. Thanks Brad.
