VirtualBoy
So, I'm trying to get started on recording some rap music, but I need help. It suddenly dawned on me that OCremix would be the perfect place to look. Here's the deal. This is something I've been working on for a while now, and I've got the lyrical and vocal aspects down, no problem. My issue is the beats. I'm awful with a synthesizer and anything similar, and I'm looking for someone who'd be interested in working with me to make some beats. The subject matter of my lyrics is all nerdy stuff (along the lines of MC Lars, Frontalot or Chris), including a number of game-related songs, to which the musicians here are no stranger. So I'm looking for anyone who could make me some upbeat and energetic music to accompany my rhymes. For now this is just something I'm doing for fun, and not for any kind of profit, though if it comes out sounding good enough I might try to play some shows. If anybody is interested in working on this with me, let me know.
Salluz
Idk if this would be a more suitable thread for the music: remix or non-remix forums, but I can help. Send me a PM.
Broken
I don't know if this is exactly what you are looking for, but if you contact this guy, you might be able to work together. He likes to do game related songs, and has a great sound team that makes beats and melodies.
