1337 1
I was wandering around Game today while I was out, and I found a DS..."game" that caught my attention. A KORG synth for the DS: http://www.korgds10synthesizer.com/htm/index.htm I had a bit of a chuckle to myself, as the idea of making music on my DS struck me as a bit of an odd idea. That said, it could be a fun way to pass some time. What does everyone else think? Are these things just gimmicks? Has anyone bothered using one? Are we set to see a whole "new" wave of "games" to come to our handhelds? Or is the whole concept just a fistful of fail?

The Damned
Yeah, ever since it was announced (back in, what, June?), there's been a new topic about it every couple of months. No biggie. I think it may be a good way for new and amateur remixers to get into using sequencers. Fruity Loops and the like are a little intimidating at first, and can be a turn-off for those not prepared for it.
Antipode
We should have people post creations in this thread! I'd love to hear what can be done with it (even short loops). I've messed with it and it's a lot of fun. Would be great for a road trip!
The Damned
I've been interested in hearing a collab using the various music games/programs that the DS has. Imagine Band Brothers, Elecktroplankton and Korg DS-10 all together in one well done effort. I think it would be awesome.
Murmeli Walan
Now would be a good time to pimp out the newest Metroid Metal track, as Stemage used the Korg DS-10 on it. Check it out.
Antipode
NICE, I did NOT know there was a new one!

Yes, but I live in Australia, the land of delayed and slow releases, not to mention countless bans However, its nice to hear positive discussions about this sort of thing; usually when this sort of thing comes out, its regarded as a gimmick. Granted, this sort of thing is hardly new, but I'm used to only seeing this sort of thing in homebrew. Not that I use homebrew.
Mustin
It says "KORG" on it. It's no homebrew.
